Exclusive content on Gan Jing World refers to videos, articles, and shorts that are available only on this platform. You can easily identify these unique offerings by the distinct blue "Exclusive" label appearing on the content title.

How to watch Live TV?

To watch Live TV on Gan Jing World, visit the dedicated "Live TV" section on the website. You can browse active broadcasts from global news outlets and creators and participate in real-time chats.

How to access Member-Only content?

Member-only content is available only to subscribers of a specific channel. To access it, you must join that channel’s membership. Once subscribed, exclusive videos, posts, or perks become available.

How to read articles?

On mobile, find articles by browsing the homepage or recommendations, or using the search bar. On desktop, browse homepage sections or search for articles. Tap or click an article to open and read it; some articles may require signing in.

How to watch live streams?

On mobile and desktop, tap or click the Live tab in the top menu, or select a live stream from the homepage, search, or browse. Live videos start automatically, and you can interact via chat or adjust playback settings.

How to watch shorts?

On mobile, open the Shorts tab in the top or bottom menu, or tap a short on the homepage. On desktop, use the top menu or find a short via homepage, search, or browse. Shorts play automatically, and you can swipe (mobile) or click next/previous (desktop) to watch more.

How to watch videos?

To watch a video, find a video you want on the homepage or using search, then click or tap its thumbnail to start playback. You can use on‑screen controls to pause, play, adjust volume, or change quality settings.

How to watch Gan Jing World on your TV?

Watch on TV with the Gan Jing World app for Roku TV or Google TV (or via Chromecast), by connecting your computer to the TV with an HDMI cable, or by using AirPlay from the app. Due to DRM protection, GJW+ movies and TV shows cannot be played over AirPlay or screen mirroring — use the Roku/Google TV app or an HDMI cable for those.

How to buy or rent movies?

Open the movie's page and click the Buy or Rent button in the lower-left corner to pay by credit or debit card. Buying stores the movie in your digital locker with unlimited views for at least 5 years; renting requires you to start watching within 45 days and finish within 7 days after the first playback.

How to use playlists and collections?

Click the "Save" button under a video (on the web) or on the right side of the video (in the app), then pick an existing playlist or create a new one. Creators can also manage playlists in Creator Studio (web only). Accounts are limited to 4 collections — a premium membership removes the limit.

Subtitles and captions

Turn on CC at the bottom right of the video player and select your language to switch subtitles. Auto-generated subtitles require a GJW Premium subscription to view; creators can also upload their own .srt or .vtt subtitle files in Creator Studio.

How to manage autoplay and playback settings?

Click your profile picture in the upper-right corner, select Preferences, and toggle "Autoplay related videos" and "Autoplay in feeds" on or off. You can also flip the autoplay switch at the bottom right of the video player, and enable background play in the same Preferences section of the app.
