Gan Jing World enforces copyright under the DMCA, allowing rights holders to submit takedown notices and alleged infringers to file counter-notices.
Gan Jing World is committed to protecting intellectual property. If you are a copyright owner and believe content on the platform infringes your work, you can file a DMCA takedown notice. If your content was removed by mistake, you can submit a counter-notice to request reinstatement. Understanding this process is important for both creators and rights holders to maintain a fair and lawful content ecosystem.
Claims of Copyright Infringement#
Gan Jing World takes copyright seriously. The Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (the "DMCA") provides recourse for copyright owners who believe that material appearing on the internet infringes their rights under U.S. copyright law.
If you believe in good faith that certain content infringes your copyright, you or your agent may send a notice requesting removal or disabling of access to that content. If you believe a notice of copyright infringement has been wrongly filed against you, the DMCA permits you to send a counter-notice.
DMCA Takedown Notice#
You may submit a takedown notice regarding infringing material that appears on the platform. A valid takedown notice must contain substantially the following information:
- The signature of the copyright owner or an authorised agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are on a single site.
- Identification of the infringing material or activity and information reasonably sufficient to permit Gan Jing World to locate the material.
- Contact information for the copyright owner or authorised agent.
- A statement that the person sending the notice has a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that the person sending it is authorised to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Once Gan Jing World receives your notice, it will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material and then notify you the material has been removed. The original notice may be sent to the alleged infringer.
Counter-Notice#
If you believe that material was removed as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice requesting reinstatement. After receiving your counter-notice, Gan Jing World will forward it to the original complaining party. Unless the original party files a court order, the material may be restored after no less than ten and no more than fourteen business days.
A valid counter-notice must contain substantially the following information:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the relevant judicial district.
Submitting a notice or counter-notice may subject you to criminal prosecution for perjury and civil penalties if you knowingly misrepresent that content is infringing.
Repeat Infringer Policy#
In addition to removing infringing content, users who repeatedly infringe on copyrights may be subject to additional sanctions under Gan Jing World's Copyright Repeat Infringer Policy, which may include permanent termination of their account.
