How to create a short?
Click the + icon → open Creator Studio → select Upload Short → upload a vertical video (max 20 minutes) → add details → Publish or Save Draft. On mobile, tap Create Shorts to upload or record directly.
To create a Short, access Creator Studio from the homepage using the plus icon and select the option to upload a Short. Upload a vertical video that meets the length requirement, then complete important details like title, thumbnail, category, visibility, and audience settings before publishing or saving as a draft. On mobile, you can create a Short even faster by using the Create Shorts option to upload a video or record one directly, apply text or effects, and then follow the same steps to finalize and publish.
Desktop#

Access Creator Studio
Go to the homepage and click the + (plus) icon in the top-right corner. From the menu, select Creator Studio to open your content dashboard.

Open Upload Short Option
Inside Creator Studio, click the Create Content dropdown button. From the available options, select Upload Short to begin.

Upload Your Short Video
In the popup window, select a video file from your device. Ensure your video is 20 minutes or less and formatted vertically, meaning the height is greater than or equal to the width.

Enter Video Details
After uploading, complete all required fields including video language, title, thumbnail, category, visibility settings, and whether the content is made for kids.

Publish or Save
Once everything is filled out, choose Publish to make your Short live or Save Draft to upload it for later.
Mobile#

Open Create Shorts
On the mobile app, tap the Create Shorts option to start the process of creating or uploading a Short.

Upload or Record
Choose to either upload a Short from your phone or start recording directly within the app to film a new Short.

Add Text or Effects
After recording or uploading, enhance your Short by adding text, filters, or other effects available in the editor.

Complete Video Details
Enter the required details such as title, thumbnail, category, visibility, and audience settings, similar to the desktop process.

Publish or Save
Finish by selecting Publish to post your Short or Save Draft to keep it for later.
Key Requirements for Shorts#
- Maximum duration: 20 minutes
- Format: Vertical video (height ≥ width)
- Requires title, thumbnail, category, and audience settings
