Community Guidelines
Gan Jing World prohibits spam, misinformation, sexually explicit material, violent or harmful content, harassment, terrorism promotion, and hate speech across all platform features.
These guidelines exist to keep Gan Jing World a safe, trustworthy, and family-friendly platform. They apply to all content types -- videos, shorts, articles, posts, live streams, comments, descriptions, and external links. Violations may result in content removal, age-restriction, or channel termination. Certain exceptions are made for educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic content when sufficient context is provided.
Spam or Misinformation#
Spam, Deceptive Practices and Scams
Content that is excessively posted, repetitive, or untargeted is prohibited. This includes offering rewards in exchange for app installs, featuring autogenerated low-quality content, misleading users with copyrighted works, repeatedly posting identical content, soliciting clicks with false financial promises, and linking to harmful websites.
Misleading Metadata or Thumbnails
Using titles, thumbnails, or descriptions to deceive users about a piece of content's nature is prohibited. This includes thumbnails unrelated to the actual content, such as those depicting popular celebrities.
Scams, Fake News, and Incentivisation Spam
Content making exaggerated promises, promoting "get rich quick" schemes, or disseminating fake news or events is strictly prohibited. Content designed solely to sell engagement metrics such as views, likes, comments, or subscribers (e.g. "Sub4Sub") is also prohibited.
Sexually Explicit Material#
Posting pornographic content may lead to content removal or channel termination. Strictly prohibited material includes content featuring or exploiting minors, sexual violence or assault, pornography, and nudity intended for sexual gratification. This applies to real-world scenarios, dramatised representations, illustrations, and animated content.
Content containing nudity is permissible when its primary purpose is educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic and is not gratuitous -- for example, indigenous cultural contexts, medical settings, or documentaries on breast cancer. Clips taken out of context for sexual gratification are not permitted.
Violent, Harmful or Dangerous Content#
Harassment or Bullying
Content that threatens individuals or targets them with prolonged or malicious insults is prohibited. This includes content intended to shame, deceive, or insult a minor, and material featuring sustained name-calling or slurs based on intrinsic attributes such as protected-group status, physical characteristics, or survivor status.
Harmful or Dangerous Acts
Content promoting dangerous or illegal activities posing a risk of serious physical harm or death is strictly prohibited. This includes hacking demonstrations, instructional theft, non-educational steroid or drug content, depictions of minors with substances, instructions for causing harm, dangerous pranks, and extremely dangerous challenges.
Violent Content
Violent or bloody content intended to shock or disgust viewers is prohibited, as is content encouraging others to commit violent acts. This includes graphic footage of corpses, bodily fluids shown to shock, depictions of fights involving minors, and footage of road accidents, assaults, or similar events intended to shock.
Terrorism and Violent Extremism#
Content intended to praise, promote, or support violent extremist, criminal, or terrorist organisations is strictly prohibited. This includes recruitment material, glorification of violent tragedies, content featuring extremist insignia, material depicting hostages, and content praising prominent terrorist figures.
Hateful or Abusive Content#
Gan Jing World prohibits hate speech. Content promoting violence or hatred against individuals or groups based on socioeconomic status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, religion, immigration status, race, nationality, ethnicity, disability, or age is not allowed.
If you are posting educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic content that touches on sensitive topics, ensure you provide sufficient context within the content itself -- not just in the title or description. This helps both Gan Jing World and your audience understand the primary purpose of your content.
