Content visibility options: public, unlisted, and private
Gan Jing World offers three visibility settings: Public (shown on your channel page and in search), Unlisted (anyone with the link can watch, but the video does not appear on your channel page or in search results), and Private (only you can watch it).
Every video can be set to Public, Unlisted, or Private. Only public videos appear on your channel page. An unlisted video can be watched by anyone who has the link, but it will not show on your channel page or in search results. A private video is visible only to the channel's owner and manager in Creator Studio — inviting specific people to view a private video is not currently available, so if you want to share a video without publishing it, choose Unlisted and send the link directly.
The three visibility settings#
- Public — the video is shown on your channel page and can appear in search results. Only public videos are displayed on your channel page.
- Unlisted — anyone who has the video link can watch it, but the video does not appear on your channel page or in search results.
- Private — only you can watch the video. It is visible only to the channel's owner and manager in Creator Studio, and it does not appear on your channel page or in search results.
Inviting specific people to view a private video is not currently available. If you want to share a video with certain people without publishing it, choose Unlisted and send them the video link.
How to change a video's visibility#
