How to resume a canceled subscription?

    Sign in to your subscription account

    Log in at https://www.ganjingworld.com with the account associated with your membership. For best results, use a full-screen browser on a computer.

    Open Purchases & Subscriptions

    Click the avatar icon in the upper right corner of the screen and choose "Purchases & Subscriptions". You can also go directly to https://www.ganjingworld.com/me/premium_subscription.

    Find the canceled plan on the Subscriptions tab

    Open the "Subscriptions" tab. A canceled plan still appears under "Current Subscriptions" — it is marked with the status "Cancelled" and shows a "Benefits end" date.

    Click Resume Subscription and confirm

    Click "Resume Subscription" on that plan. A confirmation dialog appears asking whether to reactivate the plan and stating that you will be charged one day before the current plan ends. Click "Reactivate" to restore the membership.

A "Resume Subscription" button on the Subscriptions tab means your subscription is currently canceled. Your membership still runs until the "Benefits end" date shown on the card.

Straight after canceling#

If you change your mind immediately, you do not have to go back to the Subscriptions tab. The page shown right after a cancellation confirms the date your subscription will end and offers a "Continue your membership" button that restores it on the spot.

If your subscription has already expired#

Resuming restores a canceled subscription while the current term is still active. Once the term has passed, the plan moves to the "Expired Subscriptions" section, where "Show Details" reveals a "Renew" button.

What does the "Resume Subscription" button mean?+
If you sign in and the plan on the Subscriptions tab shows the status "Cancelled" and a "Resume Subscription" button, your subscription has been canceled and is running out its final term. Clicking the button restores the membership.
Can I resume after my subscription period has ended?+

Do I keep access after canceling, before I resume?+
Yes. A canceled subscription remains active until the end of the current membership term, so you can keep watching until then.
When am I charged after resuming?+
The confirmation dialog states that you will be charged one day before your current plan ends, so the membership continues without a gap.
Do I need to use a computer to resume?+
Resuming works most reliably with a full-screen browser on a computer. Make sure you sign in with the same account used to purchase the subscription.
My subscription is billed by Apple — can I resume it here?+
No. Apple-billed subscriptions are managed by Apple, so the Subscriptions tab shows a "Manage" link instead of a resume button. Restore the subscription in Apple's subscription settings. Subscriptions purchased in the Android app are billed like website purchases and resume with the steps above.
