Account registration FAQ
You can create a Gan Jing World account with your phone number, your Google account, your Apple ID, or an email address plus a password — pick a method and click "Continue" to complete registration. Google and Apple sign-ups need no password.
Sign-in methods and passwordless accounts
You can sign in with an email address and password, with "Continue with Google" or "Continue with Apple" (no password needed), or with a device-bound passwordless account. One email address can register only one account, and a passwordless account counts as a separate account. Facebook sign-in has been discontinued.
How to reset your password?
On the sign-in page, enter your account email and click "Continue", then click "Forgot password?" and "Send" to receive a verification code by email. Enter the code and set a new password. You can also update your password anytime from Settings & Privacy while signed in.
How to change your email address?
Click your profile picture → "Settings & Privacy" → "Change" next to your current email. Verify with a code sent to your current email, enter the new email, then verify with a second code sent to the new address and click "Continue" to finish.
How to set preferences?
In Preferences, you can choose a theme color and restore your homepage by clicking Reset Homepage to bring back all removed sections.
How to unsubscribe from marketing emails?
Open a newsletter email from [email protected] and click the "unsubscribe here" link at the top of the email, then confirm on the page that opens. Note: the newsletter and a paid GJW Premium subscription are completely separate — unsubscribing from emails does NOT cancel paid billing.
How to delete your account?
Click your avatar → "Settings & Privacy" → the Account tab → "Forget Me", choose a reason, click "Continue", and sign in again to confirm. Your account is then locked; you can recover it within 30 days by signing in and clicking "RECOVER MY ACCOUNT", after which your account and personal data are removed within 120 days. Cancel any active subscriptions before deleting.
