Why can't I find my subscription?

Troubleshoot
Billing & PaymentsSubscriptions

"I'm being charged but my account says I have no subscription" almost always means you are signed in to a different account than the one that subscribed.

The subscription — and the Cancel button — is only visible in the purchasing account. Log into the account associated with your active membership, using the email address and login method from the time of purchase.

The subscription doesn't show in my account#

  • You may have multiple accounts without realizing it: each sign-in method (email + password, Continue with Google, Continue with Apple, phone number) can create a separate account, and so can each email address you use.
  • The subscription only appears in the account that made the purchase — other accounts show nothing to cancel.

How to find the right account#

  1. 1

    Find the purchasing account's email

Search all your email inboxes for "Your receipt from Ganjingworld Corporation". The inbox that receives the receipts belongs to the account that subscribed.

  2. 2

Sign in with that email and the original method

Sign out, then sign in with that email address. If the subscription still doesn't appear, try the other sign-in methods for the same address — email + password, Continue with Google, Continue with Apple, or phone — because each method can create a separate account.

  3. 3

Open your subscription and cancel or manage it

Once in the right account, click your avatar (top right) → "Purchases & Subscriptions", open the "Subscriptions" tab, find your plan, and use the "Cancel Subscription" button on the plan card. You can also go directly to https://www.ganjingworld.com/me/premium_subscription. Channel memberships live on the "Channel Memberships" tab instead.

I can't access the purchasing account#

If the account's email is lost, the password is forgotten, or the account was deleted, contact Customer Service with the last 4 digits of the charged card and the payment date. Support can locate the subscription and cancel it for you.

Things that don't work#

Warning

Always cancel the subscription itself — neither of these stops the billing:

  • Changing or replacing your card. Under the Paid Service Terms, a failed payment can be collected from your designated method or any other method saved to your payments profile.
  • Deleting the account. A confirmed Forget Me request locks the account, and a locked account can no longer reach its subscriptions to cancel them.
Info

The email newsletter is separate from any paid subscription: unsubscribing from emails does not stop billing, and canceling billing does not stop the newsletter. If the charge descriptor on your statement is unfamiliar, see "How to identify a Gan Jing World charge".

Still need help?#

If you still can't locate the subscription, contact Customer Service via the feedback/help entry. Including the last 4 digits of the charged card, the payment date, and the email addresses you use will speed up the resolution.

Frequently Asked Questions

I'm signed in but there is nothing to cancel — why?+
The Cancel button only appears in the account that purchased the subscription. You are most likely signed in to a different account — check the receipt emails to find the right one, and try every sign-in method for that email address.
How can I have more than one account without knowing?+
Each sign-in method (email + password, Google, Apple, phone number) and each email address can create a separate account. Subscribing from one and signing in with another makes the subscription seem to disappear.
I can't access the account that subscribed. How do I stop the charges?+
Contact Customer Service with the last 4 digits of the charged card and the payment date. Support can locate the subscription and cancel it for you.
Can I just change my credit card number to stop the billing?+
No — cancel the subscription itself. Under the Paid Service Terms, if a payment cannot be completed with your designated payment method, you authorize collection from that method or any other payment method saved to your payments profile.
Will deleting my account stop the subscription?+
Don't try it as a way to stop billing. A confirmed Forget Me request locks your account, and once it is locked you can no longer access the account or any subscriptions on it — which means you can no longer cancel them yourself. Cancel the subscription first.
I unsubscribed from the emails — does that cancel my paid subscription?+
No. The email newsletter is separate from any paid subscription. Unsubscribing from emails does not stop billing, and canceling billing does not stop the newsletter.
