Frequently Asked Questions

Can I subscribe inside the GJW mobile app?+
Yes — you can subscribe in the Gan Jing World iOS or Android app. An iOS purchase is billed through the Apple App Store, and buying that way extends availability to over 175 countries. An Android purchase is billed the same way as a website purchase and managed on the Purchases & Subscriptions page.
What subscription plans can I choose from?+
Three individual plans, each available monthly or yearly: GJW+ Basic, GJW+ Gold (No Ads), and Ad-Free. Only GJW+ Basic and GJW+ Gold (No Ads) include GJW+ movies and shows; Ad-Free removes video ads only.
Do I need an account before I can subscribe?+
Yes. A subscription belongs to the Gan Jing World account you buy it with, so you need a free account first.
How much does a plan cost, and is yearly cheaper?+
Prices vary by region, plan, and promotion, so they are shown live on the plans page. Compare the monthly and yearly options there before you subscribe.
What do I get with a GJW+ subscription?+
GJW+ Basic and GJW+ Gold (No Ads) include over 10,000 premium movies, documentaries, and TV shows, Originals you won't find anywhere else, and full access to Gan Jing Kids. Gold also removes video ads across the entire platform.
Which account should I use to subscribe?+
The one you want the subscription tied to. Your purchase applies solely to the account you were using when you purchased, so note the email and the sign-in method — you will need the same combination to watch, manage, or cancel later.
Which countries can purchase a GJW+ membership?+
Purchases on the website are supported in a set list of regions including the United States, Canada, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Australia, South Korea, Vietnam, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Singapore and much of the EU.
