Terms of Service
The Gan Jing World Terms of Service are a set of binding legal agreements that govern how you use the platform, purchase paid services, access additional features, and make financial contributions.
Before using Gan Jing World you should understand the legal framework that applies to your account. The Terms of Service comprise four interconnected documents: the main Terms of Use (covering accounts, content, intellectual property, and liability), the Paid Service Terms (covering subscriptions, rentals, purchases, and billing), Additional Terms for Specific Services (covering the Gan Jing Browser), and the Support Terms and Conditions (covering financial contributions to the platform). Together these documents define your rights, obligations, and the rules that protect both you and the platform.
1. Terms of Use (Main Agreement)#
The Terms of Use form the primary legal agreement between you and Ganjingworld Corporation. They were last updated in February 2026 and became effective in March 2026. By accessing, downloading, installing, or using any part of the Services you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to comply with these terms.
Accounts
Parts of the Services are available without an account (browsing, watching, searching). However, features such as liking, commenting, following, saving, and uploading require you to create an account. Each account is personal and non-transferable. You are solely responsible for all activity through your account and must notify Gan Jing World immediately if your credentials are compromised.
Your Content
You retain ownership of content you upload. By submitting content you grant Gan Jing World a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable licence to use, copy, store, reproduce, modify, display, distribute, and create derivative works from your content worldwide. You also grant other users a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to access your content through the Services.
You must ensure your content does not violate the agreement or applicable laws, is not defamatory, obscene, or an invasion of privacy, and does not infringe on any third party's intellectual property rights.
Intellectual Property and Restrictions
All platform materials (software, text, images, logos, audio, video) are the property of Gan Jing World or its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-commercial licence to access and use the Services. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, or decompile any part of the platform. You may not use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or collect data from the Services.
Content Removal and Strikes
Gan Jing World reserves the right to remove content that violates Community Guidelines or Terms of Use, or that may cause harm. Repeat violations result in strikes with escalating restrictions, up to and including permanent removal of your channel. You may appeal strikes you believe were issued in error.
Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis with no warranty of any kind. Gan Jing World's aggregate liability is limited to the total amount you have paid during the six months prior to the incident, or one hundred US dollars ($100), whichever applies. You agree to indemnify Gan Jing World against claims arising from your use of the Services or your content.
Dispute Resolution
Disputes are governed by the laws of the State of New York. You must first attempt informal resolution by contacting Ganjingworld Corporation at 33 Fulton St, Middletown, NY 10940. If unresolved within 60 days, disputes proceed to binding arbitration through the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Class and representative action claims are waived.
Age Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. Children under 13 may use the children's section if enabled by a parent or legal guardian, who must opt in to the sharing of personal information. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian permission.
2. Paid Service Terms of Service#
The Paid Service Terms govern all premium features and content available for a fee, including content rentals and purchases, paid subscriptions (GJW Premium Individual, Premium Business, Premium GJW+), and channel memberships. These terms were last updated on August 23, 2025.
Accessing Paid Services
- You must be at least 18 years old (or have parental consent) to purchase a Paid Service
- Some Paid Services require devices that meet specific system and compatibility requirements
- Certain Paid Services and content may only be available in specific countries
- You must not misrepresent your country of residence or attempt to bypass geographic restrictions
Payment and Billing
Payments are processed through Stripe (Gan Jing World's third-party payment processor) or through platform stores (Apple App Store, Google Play). You must maintain a valid payment method on file. Subscription fees are charged on the first day of each billing period and automatically renew until cancelled. You are responsible for applicable taxes, duties, and fees.
Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel a subscription at any time before the current billing cycle ends. The cancellation takes effect at the end of that billing period and you retain access until then. All payments are final and non-refundable except where the Paid Service is defective or as required by applicable law. EU and UK consumers have a 14-day withdrawal right from the date of purchase.
Rentals and Purchases
- Rentals: You have 45 days to start viewing rented content. Once started, you may view it an unlimited number of times during the Viewing Period (typically 7 days)
- Purchases: Purchased content is stored in a digital locker for at least 5 years from the date of purchase (the Locker Period)
- If purchased content becomes unavailable within the 5-year period you may request a refund
GJW Premium
GJW Premium (Individual, Business, and GJW+) is a recurring subscription that provides access to features such as owner hashtag aggregation pages, live streaming, and promotional benefits. Premium Business subscribers can register up to five owner hashtags. Subscription plans are pre-paid, non-refundable, and automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the subscription period ends.
3. Additional Terms for Specific Services#
Gan Jing Browser
The Gan Jing Browser Additional Terms of Use (last updated February 2026, effective March 2026) apply when you use the Gan Jing Browser. By using the browser you agree to the main Terms of Use, these additional terms, and the Privacy Policy. The browser uses open-source components licensed by third parties; licence notices are available at ganjing://credits.
The Gan Jing Browser includes components licensed under the AVC Patent Portfolio License for personal, non-commercial use only.
4. Support Terms and Conditions#
The Support Terms and Conditions (last updated September 20, 2023) govern financial contributions to Gan Jing World. Ganjingworld Corporation is not a 501(c)(3) organisation and contributions are not tax-deductible. Your support furthers the platform's mission to create a positive, vibrant, and censorship-free digital community.
Making a Contribution
- Payments are processed through Stripe
- You may make one-time or recurring contributions
- Recurring payments continue until you cancel the applicable support plan
- All contributions are irrevocable and made without expectation of remuneration
Cancellations and Refunds for Contributions
One-time contributions are processed immediately and cannot be changed or refunded. Recurring contributions can be cancelled or updated at least 24 hours before the next payment. You can manage contributions via Stripe through the Subscriptions and Purchases section of your Gan Jing World account.
