My Dog Gets the Cone of Shame!

Good, wonderful, beautiful morning to you! Well, there's my little woo-er. Hello little woo-er! She's like, guys look! I am a flower! Yeah! Oh! The Wooz is back! So, she chewed on... Ah! Ah! Ah! Ah! She chewed on the blue surgical suit and then she chewed a little bit on the pink one. So, we went to this for a little bit to see if that helped her out. But, we got to show you guys what's going on. Oh my goodness! What's happening out there? There's already so much more. A few minutes ago, I was like, oh I got to make sure to show everybody outside. That's how much snow we've already gotten. Apparently, we're gonna get five to eight inches today and three to five inches overnight. So, maybe Jamie will take that out again. He probably should have covered it though, cause now it's gonna be all wet. What do you think? You get your stitches out in a couple of days? Maybe the snow will still be around and maybe you can pull sled? What do you think, huh? I know you want to. You're like, mom I'm so bored. I know, I'm sorry, but this pupper had to recover. She's actually doing really good. Her incisions look amazing. And she gets her stitches out in a few days. Still no roughhousing. No roughhousing. Ma'am. Ma'am. Memphis is like, I'm an angel. You are an angel. Update number two. We'll insert a photo somewhere. But, my Jeep is finally getting fixed. If you guys remember, I had a deer run into the side of my Jeep. And my brother just sent me a picture of my Jeep. Ma'am, of my Jeep getting fixed. So, hopefully my Jeep will be fixed here in the next few days. I know it seems like it took a while, but I told them not to rush. Because they're really busy like everybody else. And we were going to Florida and stuff and I wanted to make sure that they didn't take my Jeep away during all of that. So, it's finally getting fixed. Oh, Greg is supposed to be coming over today to film some videos with Jamie. What do you think of that? Yeah, that's what I thought. Crazy girls. Crazy, crazy, crazy. We're on snow storm watch today. See how much more we get. Okay, so yes it's dark. We only got a little tiny bit of snow so far. That's why you didn't see anything else from today. So, in about two seconds it's going to be tomorrow. Let's see if we got more snow. Okay, so it is the next day and unfortunately we still can't let all the dogs out together. Eleanor's got one more day of stitches and she's not going to be happy right now. But, these two are going to go out and we're going to show you guys. And we did get snow and that's quite a bit. They look pretty happy. Are you pretty happy? Yeah, I think they're both pretty happy. Honey, I know. And you don't even have your cone on because you took it off and started chewing on it. You have one more day. Thank you for the woos. One more day. You get your stitches out tomorrow and then you can go out there and play. What do you think of that? She's like... Yeah, I know. I understand. I really do. I do understand. It sucks when you can't do the things you want to do because you're recovering, right? Yeah, it sucks ma. I know, we're recovering. But, we're recovering. So, we did get snow. It's hard to say how much we got because it was really windy as well. You can see the big drift right there next to his machine. He might take that out in a little bit. I understand. Please file your complaints with the authority. She's like... Ma, you are the authority. I'm filing my complaints. I know. You get to go out in just a minute. As soon as they come in. As soon as they... You're not supposed... You're not supposed to be... You're not supposed to be jumping. You're not supposed to be doing crazy zoomies. You're not... That's... Oh my gosh. She has lost her marbles. Your marbles have been lost. What are you doing? Crazy? You're not supposed to be doing any of that. Yeah, I don't know if you know this, but snow makes dogs go crazy. Alright, you crazy zoomie monkey. You're a crazy zoomie all by yourself. I know. Ready? Set. Three. Two. One. Snow! Holy fast. She's like... And we're going to make some laps. Her belly is going to be so cold. Where you going? Oh, big drift over there. She's like... This is great. So much snow. I love it. She's back there having a good old time. She's like... This is great. This is so much fun. Even though I'm by myself. And she's like... Let me back in. I don't like being out here alone. Oh, maybe not. Change my mind. Maybe I do like the snow. Alright, even though you chewed this thing up. I'm putting it on you because now you're taking the cone off. So, now you got to come hang out with me in the office for a little bit, okay? She's like... Yeah, okay. I'm just glad I got to go outside and play in the snow. I think you all were. You were all a little like snow crazy out there, huh? I know, it's nice. We got snow again. Maybe we get to take the sled out this weekend. We will see. I know. You heard me say it. I will walk you behind the sled. I will. Because that will make you happy as could be. Only if the conditions are good. Hopefully they don't come and plow our roads too bad and turn them to ice. I guess, if they do, we can always go find a trail. Not today though. You still have stitches. So, not today. What do you think, little Miss Eleanor? She's like... I think I'm going to get through this thing. You already got through it. You tore it. Look at this. It's tore. Right there. But guess what? You got stitches. No, you can't go in there. You get your stitches out tomorrow. So, as you guys know, I had a procedure done last week. A lot of you guys had a lot of questions. If you are wondering why the vlogs have been kind of weird for the past couple of days, it's because I haven't actually left the house. Greg took me to the post office and that was about it. Hi! Hello! What's up? With your little onesie. You finally get to be done with this tomorrow. Tomorrow. You can play tomorrow. So anyway, while the dogs are being crazy... Oh, my Christmas tree lights are off. While the dogs are being crazy, I thought I would do another little like update on how I'm doing and how Eleanor is doing. Eleanor gets her stitches out tomorrow. She's doing fine. She was the easiest dog that we've ever had spayed in the elective gastropexy ever. She was super easy. You may notice, I'm in the recovery room. Look! There's no bed in here. We actually took it out like three days ago because she was doing so good and she actually used the ramp to get up on our bed. So, we took it out of here and we slept in the regular bed. As for me, I have a doctor's appointment on Monday where we're going to kind of go over all of the stuff. If you guys don't know, I'll put a link to the video down in the video description below of talking about the procedure that I had... What was it now? A week ago? Ten days ago? Ten days ago now. Don't step on her! Would you? Could you not? Could you just be good for like a minute? Please? Thanks? And you're just in my lap. I mean, you're adorable. I have my husky jammies on and they're super cute with the husky on them. They're husky on them. Husky on them. Oh, look! Your tooth is hanging out. She's like, my tooth is hanging out. Anyway, some of you guys had left some comments about the procedure that I had done and how am I doing. I'm doing okay. I still have a pretty big bruise from where they had to go in and do the heart cath. But, it's feeling better. I can move around again. It's weird. I haven't like gone to the grocery store or anything. Greg took me to the post office and then Jamie took me when we took Eleanor in. That's it. That's all I've left the house in like the past ten days, which is weird. We're going to fix that tomorrow, maybe. Maybe I can go to the grocery store tomorrow? What do you think? Well, we're going to take you to get your stitches out, so we'll go do that. I'm not used to being stuck in the house. Yeah, I'm not used to being stuck in the house. Thanks for getting in my face. She's like, I want to go play in the snow. Well, you can't because it's dark out. This video is chaotic. Anyway, I am doing okay. Feeling fine. Going to the doctor on Monday, so they can kind of go over all the things that we went through last week and pretty much go from there. But, I probably will be just giving the all clear to go back to doing everything that I was doing, which is kind of what we're hoping for. So, I guess they're going to do a test to see if I have high blood pressure or not. Because, we think I might, but we're not exactly sure. I've been testing it here at home, so that's one of the things that they're going to look at. But, that's the only thing. Which, it runs in my family, so I wouldn't be surprised by that. But, yeah. I'm okay. That's the update from me. I know a lot of you guys were really concerned and I didn't want to make everybody worried and that was kind of why I waited to make the video, but I guess I still made everybody worried. I guess that's just what people do. Alright, you little monkeys. What do you think? Kira? Do you want to go outside? Alright, I'm going to let these girls outside. And then, we're going to go to bed so we can wake up in the morning so you can get your stitches out. What do you think of that? She's like, I think that would be great because I would really like to play in the snow. Oh yeah, you got floofies coming out of you. You're going to play in the snow tomorrow because we have snow. We definitely don't have as much as they said we were going to get, but we do have some snow. So, we're going to go ahead and end this right here. We hope you guys enjoyed today's video.
