Well, good morning Pawdience!
Bright and early!
Thanks for liking and subscribing to Snow Dogs Vlogs!
So today is actually...
They call it topless day for Jeeps and...
Basically what it is, is it's a day that this website kind of made up and it's become kind of a thing...
Where you're supposed to go on a trail ride and you're supposed to take your Wrangler and go topless.
If you don't have Wrangler, you just take your Jeep or your four-wheel-drive vehicle and you just go and you go for a ride.
So we're participating in this ride today.
We're not taking Jamie's Jeep. We're not going topless. We're taking my Jeep because it's 40 degrees outside.
So the girls are gonna stay here because we don't want to bounce them like crazy down the trails.
We're only supposed to be gone about five hours. So they'll be perfectly fine. We have the camera to check on them.
I'll be watching you from right there as always and the one in there and the other one.
So we're watching you.
We'll be back girls. We'll see you in a little bit.
Yeah, so we're taking this one and it's been raining on and off and it's kind of cold.
But we're going. Look at that sky!
All right. Well, we're here. There's a couple Jeeps there.
There's a row of vehicles here. We got to go get signed up.
It's still early. So people are lining up. My Jeep doesn't fit in with all these Jeeps today.
So here is...
Everybody's getting ready and lining up.
We kind of stand out in a crowd. So we are lined up and getting ready to go.
Are you excited?
Did you look at all the roads we're gonna drive on? I'm looking at a million. Lots of seasonal roads.
They said there's one road that might be a little wet.
Well, a lot of the roads are gonna be wet, but they said there's one road that's really deep.
Yeah, that's the we're gonna go on the trail next to your parents property. Yes. Yeah.
Yeah, and there's a couple spots on that trail that are... They said anybody that is, um,
stock that doesn't think they can make it, they'll route around. But I think we can make it. What do you think?
Yeah, yeah. We're not really stocked.
I mean we are, but I'm sitting just as high as the Jeep in front of me and the Jeep behind me.
To be honest, my friend and his friend went up to the very
northern point of the Upper Peninsula and
the one guy took his nice lifted Jeep and my friend took his stock Jeep and
my friend tells me that his stock Jeep made it more places than the lifted one. The marked one.
Yep, marked. That the lifted one constantly got stuck. And I think they were at High Rock Bay. High Rock Bay.
We need to go back there this year. Yeah. So anyway, we're just waiting now. We're in line. Stock ones can do it. Yeah.
Jessica driving.
Oh, we just missed somebody hitting the puddle. But we're gonna hit it.
That's a muddy puddle. Look, we got some mud. Yay! Somebody made it muddy for us. Sorry the windshield wiper turned on automatically.
Sorry to clean the windshield.
Well, we got one stuck. Don't spin them tires till I walk back past you.
I've been through that before.
All right, Jeep's a little bit dirtier than it was a minute ago. So we just went through that hole back there.
Say they're all gonna have to move forward.
Yeah, we know. We know. Thanks for blowing the horn. We didn't stand there.
You're gonna fall in. I say, yep, you're done. Oh, maybe not.
Got one more stuck.
So, so far I haven't gotten stuck. This hole in front of me is kind of nasty and the hole that the girls stuck in up
there is kind of nasty. But so far we haven't gotten stuck.
So now we're just waiting for the people up there to get unstuck.
So we got one more person that's um...
They didn't get... Well, they kind of got stuck and then they got flooded.
So they're trying to dry out their Jeep right now. We haven't got stuck yet. Knock on wood.
Oh, he's trying to start it.
But it's windy back here. It's pretty cold. But so far this has been a lot of fun. Are you having fun?
Yeah. Yeah, it's been a lot of fun. I have to pee real bad though.
Apparently, we're going for mud after this. Oh, it's trying.
That Jeep back there. He's gonna kill the battery. That Jeep back there.
It's a big hole, Jessica.
What are you gonna do? I have no idea.
There's nobody in front of me, so I don't know which way to go. Right.
What do you think? I don't know.
Off to the side? Cause I could put one tire high.
You can. Do it.
Might be a good idea.
Oh gosh, I was looking at the dash.
Okay.
She follows me.
Cause like you said, there was nobody in front of you.
It's hard to judge.
Yeah, normally if you've never been on a trail before and you don't know the depth of the holes and how safe it is, you get out and you look.
There's been a lot of times I've been barefoot in the holes looking just to make sure, you know.
Here's that spot.
Yeah, this is the bumpy trail. Everybody look.
Oh gosh, here we go.
I'm gonna hold the camera as still as I can.
We're lifting all the way so it sounds horrible.
Get a side profile.
I don't have my seatbelt on again. We were just stopped again though.
Yes, that's why I grabbed the camera.
And we're going 5 miles an hour.
And you're on a dirt road.
I don't want that girl to think I left her behind.
Right, so don't leave her.
She's not.
I don't know.
You got it.
This field mud.
There's still more.
I can't see anything.
Keep going.
Good job.
So we're back.
We're having food.
After this, before we go home, we have to wash the Jeep.
It's kinda dirty.
I can't park it in the garage like that?
Probably could.
Except yours is in the garage.
No, we'll wash it.
We're getting a car wash.
Whoa!
A touchless car wash.
Every time I go to the car wash, my car thinks that it's raining.
It automatically turns the wipers on.
I'm gonna turn them off.
Oh, they do shut off on off.
Whoa, you're so dark.
Whoa, there you are. Here it is.
Gotta get the mud off.
Well, the car wash missed some spots.
It missed everything under there.
Everything under there.
And everything down there.
What's up girls?
Are you excited?
Are you happy to see us?
Are you so excited?
I know!
Are you excited too?
Oakley's excited even though she's ducking.
I'm gonna pet you.
Memphis is like, pet me.
I wanna be petted.
Oh, now we're gonna wrestle?
Now we're gonna wrestle.
Yeah?
Okay.
You get them Oakley.
Shelby, Memphis just wants to have fun.
She just wants to have fun.
You cannot run into me.
You girls are nuts.
Yeah, she's gonna run away.
Oakley, they're crazy.
Oh, here she goes.
And there she goes.
See where you started Shelby?
This is apparently the celebration because we're home?
Is that what that is?
Hi! Yeah, we're home.
Go ahead, celebrate.
Bless you.
Are you good?
Yeah? Are you good?
There's the insanity.
Oh, somebody's got fluffies coming out.
Look at this you guys.
Jamie's gonna wash the rest of the mud off the Jeep.
But he parked it on the lawn
so that the driveway
doesn't get full of that
field mud.
Look at it all rolling over there.
There's a lot of
field mud on that Jeep still.
So I just put the dogs back in the house.
Jamie pointed this out to me.
This is where the dogs have been digging
because I keep telling them there's a critter here.
He was kind of saying there wasn't.
Check that out.
He filled this hole in and look at that.
The critter's back.
He dug a hole.
There's definitely something living under the wood pile.
And there's his new hole.
Yes Memphis!
There really is a critter there.
I knew there was a critter there.
We just weren't sure if it was really living under the wood pile
or where.
But we've seen the hole.
You can stop digging there now.
Making pizza for dinner.
And somebody's helping.
You are such a great helper.
Keeping the floor warm for my feet
considering it's breezing outside.
I saw a snowflake Memphis.
I'm seriously.
I saw a snowflake.
No, I'm seriously.
I saw one.
Is that tail gonna go?
I don't have any food in my hand honey.
Oh you snuggle buggle.
You snuggle buggle.
I know you snuggle buggle.
You can be in my vlog
since you forgot your camera.
Dan.
Dan forgot his camera.
We're in a cemetery.
I was just in a cemetery with you guys
like yesterday.
That's weird. Yeah I was.
I was walking the dogs at the cemetery.
We're going to see the headless angel.
I know, right?
No, there's just one headless angel.
Oh my goodness.
It's a headless angel.
And it's an old headless angel.
Do you remember what it is?
I think it was like 19 something.
Yeah, 1930.
So the headless angel is from 1930.
Creepy.
So seriously guys,
it's 39 degrees outside.
So yeah, we came to the cemetery
cause Dan wanted to see the headless angel.
So we're out here in the night time.
Cause he's only up here
for a little while.
Can you get...
How do I make it stop doing all the things?
I don't know.
You guys hear that?
What did you call them?
Spring peepers.
Spring peepers?
I just thought they were frogs.
Is that what they are?
Yep, they're a type of frog.
In northern Michigan there are
eight different type species of frogs.
What you're hearing now is spring peepers.
I didn't know that.
Thanks Dan.
Now we know what they are.
They just sound so cool.
So we decided to take
back roads home.
We haven't spent enough time
on the back roads today.
We decided to take the back roads home.
In the dark.
Cause you know, they are so much cooler
in the dark.
That's what we're doing.
So what do you think of this crazy cold weather?
You all probably like it.
It's snowing in the upper peninsula right now.
I told you guys, I saw snowflakes.
I did.
I just don't have any proof that I saw them.
These girls were just out playing in the cold.
You like it though, don't ya?
They'd be happy if it snowed again.
There's another one in there.
With all of your toys.
Did you find some space for yourself?
Just barely, huh?
She kind of pushes them out and brings them back in.
Shelby's out.
And Memphis is out.
We're going to bed.
Good night Pawties.
How cute you are.
Sleepy sleepy.
