dog vlog: my dog got surgery.. (dental cleaning)

And she has never had her teeth cleaned as far as we know. >> Yep. >> And they really need it. So >> yeah, cuz she had she experienced some bleeding recently. >> Yeah. >> So dogs get like, you know, decay and gingivitis and all those same things people get. >> And my friend who is a vet, Cairo, she said that small dogs do experience um more dental problems. So >> he was very supportive of us bringing Piper to >> Yeah. get her >> vet to get her cleaned. Cleaned. But anyway, she's pissed at us. You can tell. And she's like, I'm not having it. I took a picture. Here's where her little her little shaved paw is. That's for the IV catheter. >> Mhm. >> All right. Yeah, she's pretty lethargic. B vitamins with a >> Happy Friday. I am on my way to get my coffee obviously. I got yesterday off, which was Thursday, so I could take Piper to her teeth cleaning, which is great cuz there wasn't a lot of cases when they were like asking people to flex. I'm like, "Yes, this is perfect." I was kind of trying to manifest that because I wanted to take my dog to get her teeth clean, but um yeah. So, all good. And now we're we're grabbing a coffee. Okay, so I got the coffee. It is perfect. And I also wanted to share that I changed my aligners. So, I'm on the second set of aligners out of 31. Um, when I put them in it was just like tight rather than like hurting. So, it's just like pressure, but it feels like I just got them like it feels like the day I caught them like that pressure. So, it doesn't hurt really at all. And now I know how to take them in and out. So, it's like totally fine. So, we'll see. Okay. I'm at Panero with Valerie here and I think they changed suppliers. Piper and I are on our way to Starbucks and then I got to fill up my tank. So, that's what we're doing now. There we go. Um, yeah. So, we're just doing our like Sunday reset. I don't know. I wanted to take her with me. I all the time. Like when I first got this car, I'm like the dog's not going to be allowed in the car a lot. And now look at me. I'm like such a sucker. But I don't know. I mean, I got the protection like this appearance warranty. So I'm like, if anything gets like too bad, like I've prepaid for that. It's fine. Um little Invisalign update. My trays, the aligners are actually doing really well. I can kind of feel like which teeth are getting moved, which makes sense because it's not all going to be done at the same time and it's going to happen in like increments, but like when you change them, you can feel it. So, I think with these um these trays are like working on like this part back here and like kind of the front here and then the front there. Maybe I'm completely wrong, but that's what I feel. Yesterday was actually super chill. I went to Cycle Bar and what else did we do? I don't know. It was a very chill day. Today is going to be like reset. Oh, I cleaned my bathroom and room yesterday. Like I deep cleaned it and I dehaired my tub, which I would have vlogged, but I don't know. I like to listen to podcasts and stuff, like cleaning and everything. And I kind of just like that to be like relaxing time, even though it's not really relaxing. It's like you're in the zone. But I don't know. I find cleaning to be sort of relaxing. Um, so that's what I did yesterday afternoon. And today I'm going to work on the floors cuz we can make a whole other dog out of our floors. So yeah, I think that is pretty much it for what we're doing now. It's not that exciting, obviously. Maybe Piper and I will check out see the farmers market a little bit. Um it's so hot and of course I picked to wear sweatpants. So I don't know. We'll see. Maybe we'll do a little perusing. She's such a good dog. She's kind of back to herself after her little procedure. Nothing beats this Sunday morning. Come on. Honestly, I cannot be more thankful. My dog, my coffee, this view was kind of nice, actually. I was just sitting here and these random girls came up to give me this coupon and like a $5 gift card. Oops, I'm like littering. Can't complain. Okay, so we made it back to the car. We went um and walked down to the farmers market like through the booths and stuff. Um I got a free refill. That's like my big news of today. I just like went in there and asked because there's no harm in asking. And I looked at like my order time and it was only like it hadn't even well it was around like half an hour. Um I guess with the straw you consume this a lot faster because I normally don't like drink it that fast. But I just went back in there stood in the line and like asked like hey like I can get a free refill. Is that right? And she was like yeah and she refilled it. So I'm like hell yeah I can't complain. And they always make it so perfect here. like the Starbuckses like sometimes it's hit or miss, but this one they always like typically get it right. So, I got a free refill. If I had been there for like a longer period of time um like since when I ordered the drink, I probably wouldn't have asked, but since like it was pretty recent, then I just like asked. So, anyway, I am happy uh that I got my little beverage. I got a free refill. It's going to be a great day. Isn't that right, Viper? She's probably dying, but I just need to get gas and then we'll head out and we'll go back home. You happy girl. Look how clean. Let me just zoom in here. Look how clean the teeth are. Sorry, Piper.
