Another day of camping and hiking in Michigan's Upper Peninsula! 🍂 We slept in after all those steps from yesterday, but it was time to pack up the RV, load up the Jeep, and head out for another day of adventure with our Siberian Huskies, Eleanor and Kira! We're exploring some beautiful spots in the UP during fall color season, checking out scenic overlooks, hiking through the woods, and enjoying some absolutely incredible views. If you love Michigan travel, camping with dogs, fall colors, and exploring the outdoors, you're going to love this adventure!
Today we're visiting Thomas Rock Scenic Overlook, also known to some locals as Gobbler's Knob, where we get to see some amazing views of the surrounding lakes, mountains, and colorful fall leaves. Then we're heading toward Lake Superior, where the dogs get to explore the rocky shoreline, get their feet wet, and help me look for beach glass. Of course, I get distracted by all the beautiful colors along the drive, too! We also make our way to Yellow Dog River Falls for another hike through the gorgeous Michigan forest. Will we make it to all the waterfalls? You'll have to watch and find out! This is another beautiful day of fall camping, hiking, scenic drives, and exploring Michigan with our dogs.
