My Dog Discovers The Neighbor's Secret! 🐔

The fact that I have to put my big long coat on to come outside to walk to the back of the yard on the first day of May is a little crazy. I know. I've seen you going back and forth. She's like, no way. I'm gonna figure this out. She's not wrong. It's not nothing. It's the neighbor's chickens. They're in their yard. They're back there making all kinds of noise. Probably laying eggs over there. Hi chicken! And they're driving Eleanor nuts. Eleanor! Hi chicken! That's the rooster, I think. Hi! She's like, mom, there's something over there and I know it. You're right. Watch your toes. You're right. There's a chicken over there. There's a whole bunch of chickens. There's chickens over there. I know. We're not messing with the chickens. Sorry. You didn't even smell the chickens. You're still snooping on the chickens. Come on. Leave the chickens alone. The neighbors have chickens. Quite a few years ago, one of their chickens actually got into our yard and Kira almost caught it. Any of you remember that? That was a long time ago. Hopefully none of these new ones figure out how to make it over here. It's so windy and cold! Back in the house. Let's go! He's gonna be mad at me for showing this. Actually, he's not. I know that Jamie is one of the sweetest people ever. The neighbor has this dump truck over here because they had an issue with the water main and they parked their camper there and the ground keeps sinking, so he had a whole dump truck of dirt brought in and Jamie has been watching him for about the last 30 minutes trying to empty this truck and he decided he's just gonna go help. It's cold out there, but he's gonna go help. I gotta go help. He's going to help the neighbors. That is one amazing thing about living in a small town and everybody kind of knowing everybody. You know, we do all try to help each other when we can. What do you think Miss Happy Girl? What do you think? I gotta run to the grocery store because I had a specific request for dinner today. The request for dinner today is patty melts. I'm gonna go run to the store and grab the stuff for patty melts. I probably should plan ahead for dinner tomorrow and the next day. This is why I live in town and live a quarter of a mile from the grocery store because I'm indecisive. There they go. Emptying the trailer. That's what Jamie said. He goes I guess he can't get the trailer to dump. Something's wrong with it. Jamie's gonna go up there and help push the dirt back to make it easier. You can now see how much dirt is in that trailer. He's helping. Doesn't matter what I'm cooking. You're always in here helping. Making burgers for dinner in Memphis. He's like just drop anything and I'll totally clean it up. And of course she's the only one in here. It's the next day but I thought I'd show you guys real quick. See these two pine trees right here that are dead? They're coming down today. So I thought I'd get a clip of this real quick and them coming down and it's warmer today than it was yesterday. That's not entirely true. It's 42 degrees but we're gonna take these two trees down. We were afraid they were gonna come down in the ice storm and the neighbor's house is right there and then our building right here. So those are going. While they're out there playing with trees, I should probably update you guys. We did get the wolfs up. There's some things we want to move around. I was telling Jamie I don't like that there's this big void space up here. So we were talking about maybe getting some shelves to put up there. We would put one way up in the top there but not sure yet. Not sure. Sorry girls. You gotta stay in here because dad took a fence panel off so we could work on the trees. You have to stay in here until they're done. So there's a big pile of tree back there now. We just burned so much of this brush and wood and now we have more. That's two trees actually. Oh boy. Well there's some fun for us. Oh my goodness you're gonna be in stick heaven again. Ready for it? 3, 2, 1 Go see the tree! Whoa wait a minute. Even Memphis is running. Where you going? Oh Eleanor's going for the squirrel. Yeah? Is that a big tree? There's so much tree. Don't get sap all over you please. Thank you. Whoa There's so much tree. So much tree. We'll take care of it over the next few days I'm sure. Yeah? Are you figuring out that the squirrel climbed up and down this tree a bunch of times? They haven't really been using this tree as much anymore but they did at one point in time. There was a big nest in it quite a few years ago but not recently. Alright don't get sap all over you. Memphis you don't make bad life choices. Yeah I don't think we'll be cleaning up much of this today but don't worry we'll vlog it when we do.
