YouTube's lawsuit claims that GJW is encouraging people to violate its Terms of Service by asking them to access YouTube using "automated means" such as robots, botnets or scrapers to copy content from YouTube to GJW's website. GJW denies these claims. A Pattern of Obstruction

Gan Jing World views this lawsuit as part of a broader series of challenges it has faced from Google since 2022, which have hindered its visibility and growth. These challenges include the apparent discrepancies in how its content is indexed by Google, YouTube's parent company, compared to other major search engines; the exclusion of GJW's exclusive content from Google search results, and an apparent prioritization of negative content that GJW considers damaging and discriminatory.

Standing Up to Religious Defamation

YouTube's lawsuit against GJW also highlights YouTube's attempt to target the religious beliefs of some of GJW's staff members, using defamatory language such as "cult" in its complaint—a direct echo of Chinese Community Party (CCP) propaganda against a religious faith that has been persecuted by the CCP for over 25 years. This is unacceptable. We strongly condemn YouTube's attack on our employees' religious beliefs. Discrimination based on religious belief has no place in the United States.

YouTube has long been accused of censoring content at the behest of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), a troubling practice that suppresses critical viewpoints and promotes propaganda.
