Hello everyone and welcome to the Synthé Pratique workshop for a new video.
Today we are going to see a slightly different exercise,
a dynamic stretching exercise of the neck using these arms.
So we are going to do a stretch on the left and a stretch on the right.
And know that this stretch, of course, can be complemented by other stretches and other types of exercises.
But I still found it interesting to talk to you about this one,
because it will work your cervicals a little differently than usual.
It's going to happen standing up, let's go!
We are going to keep our legs a little bit apart, slightly more than the width of the pelvis,
to be stable and well anchored in the ground.
We press a little bit on the ground with our feet, we feel good that we are well on our feet, on our heels.
Then we are going to do a little stretch of the lateral neck.
The side that we stretch from the cervicals will try to grow, grow, grow towards the ceiling.
So in fact it's not, I'm getting closer here, but it's, I'm stretching this way.
And in fact you will see the difference is that it will stretch the rest of the back,
and that this side will not pinch, cramp.
We go well anchored in the ground, we stretch the ear towards the ceiling.
The ear is oriented towards the other shoulder, but does not come close so as not to cramp the other side.
And so we look straight ahead or slightly towards the ceiling and we stretch, we stretch, we stretch.
We try to have the rest of the back as stretched as possible at the same time.
That is to say, we will slightly reverse the pelvis very slowly.
So we contract the abs a little bit, we go in the belly and we tighten the buttocks.
We try to stretch the whole back by pushing a little bit on his legs.
So the whole body will be strained and we stretch the ear towards the ceiling.
Already this stretch is already not bad, but we will add a little more dynamics.
With his arm on the same side, we will come and push like that towards the ground.
You will see that it will stretch even more at the level of the neck and shoulder.
And we will slowly go up by pushing.
Go up, go up, go up, go up, go up, go up, go up, go up, go up, go up.
And then we will stretch upwards to stretch a little bit all the side.
Then we go back, we stretch, we stretch, we stretch, we stretch, we stretch and we come back.
You have to imagine that there is a circle around you and that we are trying to draw the biggest circle possible.
So then we're going to do the other side.
You will immediately feel that it is much more stretched than the side that worked.
So we start like that, we are well anchored in the ground, we push, we go in the belly, we tighten the buttocks.
We can look slightly towards the ceiling and there we have a nice lateral stretch at the neck level.
It will also stretch one of the trapezoidal vessels and other muscles of the neck.
So it's very, very good.
And then we're going to push, push, push, push.
And we push, we push, we push, we push.
If we have small problems, it can also cause a little pain.
So if you create pain in this exercise, don't do it.
It means that there is something that is blocked or that is too contracted.
We're going to see one last little exercise.
But just before that, I would like to remind you that there is a special program for back pain.
So if you have neck pain at the top or at the bottom of the back, there are things to do to stop having back pain.
And I offer this program to you for free.
So you just have to download it in the link just below the video.
So the end of this exercise, quite simply, we will try not to grow on one side or the other, but to grow ourselves.
And to do, a bit like dancers, we're going to do a crown, but we're not going to finish it, we're going to stay parallel.
It works the abs, it works the back, the neck, the arms, the legs.
We are all contracted, we are stretched as much as possible.
And we come to do these big circles with the arms several times.
And then we're going to do it with the arm on the other side.
And we're going to stretch with both arms, like that.
And we're also going to do it with the other side.
And there you go.
You'll see, it also warms up the shoulders a little bit.
And it's going to stretch the muscles that are on the side of the neck and shoulders.
So it's very beneficial for all these tensions that we can accumulate here when we're too much on the computer, etc.
So I invite you to subscribe to my YouTube channel, to activate the bell.
And we'll meet again in the program, I say goodbye to back pain.
The six-step method to say goodbye to back pain.
See you soon!
