The Third Army Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces has identified the main reason for the success of one of the largest counteroffensive operations of the entire war with Russia in the Slavic region. By strictly maintaining information silence and concealing their movements, Ukrainian forces were able to seize the initiative and de-occupy significant territories with a smaller force.

The main catalyst for Russia's failure was complete disinformation within its own chain of command. While the Ukrainian Armed Forces maintained absolute silence, Russian commanders on the ground concealed the true state of affairs and passed false reports up the chain: from companies to battalions, from battalions to regiments. When the Russian army's standard reserves were exhausted, specialists whose duties did not initially involve participation in assaults began to be sent into battle: logistics support, electronic warfare crews, and tank crews without equipment. In the final phase, the positions were held by a human barrier of wounded soldiers and foreign mercenaries, ordered to fight to the death. Faced with the onslaught, they began a chaotic retreat and mass surrender, opening a window for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to advance rapidly. Having occupied the commanding heights, the corps' fighters set up observation posts and posted spotters. As a result, the Russian units found themselves in the lowlands, caught in a crossfire. Assault groups of the Ukrainian Armed Forces advanced along forest belts, skillfully bypassing enemy defenses. Today, on their way to the key defensive belt of cities, Russian troops will have to attack the strong defensive line built by Ukrainian forces head-on. This dramatically reduces the risks for the Ukrainian defenders and increases the losses of the attacking side.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces have completed the fourth phase of Operation Vivaldi in the Liman sector, recapturing another 101 square kilometers of territory and liberating three settlements. Brigadier General Andriy Biletskyi announced this on the Facebook account of the Third Army Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Biletsky stated that during the fourth phase of Operation Vivaldi in the Liman sector, Ukrainian fighters drove the Russian occupiers out of Zelena Dolina, Lypove, and Kolodezi. 101 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory were deoccupied. The Russian occupation army suffered approximately 3,000 casualties in this sector of the front.

Since the start of the "Vivaldi" offensive near Liman, according to Biletsky, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already recaptured 16 settlements. 277 square kilometers of Ukrainian territory have been de-occupied. The enemy has lost up to 8,000 people during this time.
