Ukraine's drone operation in the Black and Azov Seas is damaging not only Russia's navy but also its economy. Russian farmers are on the brink of collapse. This was reported by the well-known Russian Z-blogger "angry patriot" Maxim Kalashnikov. Kalashnikov noted that Ukraine's attacks have nearly halved Russia's grain exports. This has had a knock-on effect on the agricultural and engineering sectors, and the entire economy. "Due to the attacks on the Azov-Black Sea basin and the fleet, monthly grain exports from Russia have fallen to 1.5 million tons. Normally, it's 2-2.5 million tons per month. We have very high costs. The drop in domestic prices is a major complication for our grain growers and farmers—they'll have to sell below cost because there's nowhere to store it. Consequently, this is a drop in demand for agricultural machinery," the propagandist explained. He noted that Ukraine is fighting very skillfully. "They're fighting according to science. They're essentially carrying out an Anglo-Saxon air attack, like they did against Germany in World War II, only using drones and without destroying residential areas," Kalashnikov stated.
Maxim Kalashnikov is confident that Russia faces a financial crisis in the near future. People and businesses are already withdrawing cash from banks en masse. "Citizens are withdrawing their money from banks into cash. This threatens a banking crisis. And it's clear to me that this isn't just a consequence of the government's internet tricks, but also the fear of the potential conversion of deposits into debt bonds to plug the growing budget hole, which has already exceeded 8.6 trillion rubles. But the consequences threaten to be dire. And businesses are holding on to cash rather than depositing it in banks. Because of this, the banking multiplier is beginning to collapse," Kalashnikov wrote. He openly says that the reason for what is happening is the war of attrition in which the country is bogged down and which the Kremlin categorically refuses to end. "In a protracted war, Russia is simply doomed. It has far less money than the EU, which provides loans and subsidies to Kyiv. Well, here are the results. Against this backdrop, the only thing left to do is call up reservists, instantly increasing the deficit of the treasury, the Social Fund, and regional budgets by trillions. And making the conversion of citizens' deposits into government loans inevitable... This means a near-collapse of the banking multiplier... In short, everything is moving toward 'difficult decisions,'" Kalashnikov concluded.
