This vlog is your guide to experiencing Mackinac Island with your dogs. We take you along on our journey, starting with the ferry ride from St. Ignace and sharing our tips for navigating the island. We made sure to pace the day for our sweet senior husky, Memphis, taking plenty of breaks and showing how you can enjoy a full day of exploring with an older dog. We even came prepared with her Balto braces and a backup plan to call a horse-drawn taxi if needed!
From hunting down the last of the beautiful lilacs to visiting the iconic "Somewhere in Time" gazebo, we cover some of the island's most famous landmarks. We'll take you hiking on the scenic trails, visit the dog-friendly Carriage Museum at Surrey Hill, take a peek inside the Wings of Mackinac butterfly house, and stop for a photo op in front of the world-famous Grand Hotel!
This was a day filled with new smells, beautiful views, and special moments. As we always say, Life is short, Make memories with your dogs! ❤️
