Today we are in the kitchen getting ready to make some homemade watermelon dog ice cream for Kira and Eleanor. Making treat videos always gets me overthinking things a bit, but after a rainy day yesterday, everything outside is green and beautiful and it turned out to be the absolute perfect day for a refreshing frozen treat. I got everything set up to test out the recipe using our Ninja Creami, and the girls could not wait to try it.

Once the watermelon ice cream was ready, we took it outside to see what the dogs thought. Eleanor was ready to lick every single drop right away, and Kira got right to work nibbling into hers. While the dogs enjoyed their homemade treats, Jamie was hard at work over at the fixer upper house we are working on for his dad, and we had fun filming some product reviews for our review channel before winding down in the yard.

To wrap up a busy day, we took the girls out for a gorgeous northern Michigan sunset walk. We ran into lots of bunnies along the road, passed Kira's favorite neighborhood dog, and even got to watch four jets set off flares in the evening sky right above us. Life is short, make memories with your dogs!
