Bringing My Husky Home! 🏡 Emotional Backyard Reunion & Zoomies!

Today, Eleanor and I are packing up the Jeep and heading out early from our hotel room to make the long drive back home. But you know we can't just do a standard road trip without turning it into an epic adventure! Before hitting the road, we decided to make a few fun, spontaneous stops along the way, including a detour through a stunning, historic 1887 one-lane covered bridge!
From there, we stumbled upon a quirky fantasy forest sculpture park filled with incredible wood carvings of wizards, castles, and trolls. It was the Leila Arboretum Society. But the absolute highlight of our road trip was taking Eleanor on a beautiful hike at Fitzgerald Park just outside of Lansing, Michigan. This gorgeous trail follows along the famous ledges, and let me tell you, Eleanor turned into an absolute mountain goat! She was fearlessly scaling the rocks and living life right on the edge while I tried my best to keep up and capture some gorgeous photos of her.
After wrapping up our hike, we finally made it home! Memphis and Kira were so excited to welcome Eleanor back, and Jamie too! Watch until the end to see Eleanor get her high-energy zoomies out in the fresh green grass, see the local birds collecting leftover husky fur for a new nest, and watch the chaos that unfolds when the girls spot a wild bunny hiding under our backyard shed!
