Kayaking Down a Flooded River! (Very Risky) š¶
The river was moving so fast today! Have you ever been kayaking or canoeing in high water, or do you prefer to stay on the dry land with the dogs like I do? Let us know in the comments!

It is a gorgeous spring day here, and we are staying busy. Jamie and I spent the whole day tackling that massive stick pile in the yard, trying to get things cleaned up before the weather turns cold again. Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor have been enjoying the sunshine, even if Memphis is busy chasing bugs and accidentally falling into holes in the yard!
While I stayed home with the girls, the boys headed out for a high-water kayaking adventure. The river is moving incredibly fast due to the recent flooding, and there are trees down everywhere! It was a bit nerve-wracking watching them take off, but they had their chainsaws ready and even managed to catch some beautiful large-mouth bass. Itās definitely a "stay alert" kind of day on the water!
Back at the house, we are focusing on the girls' health and trying out some new goat milk and probiotics from Native Pet to help with Memphisās sensitive stomach. We wrapped up the evening with some pizza, hockey on the TV, and of course, some "pizza bones" for the dogs. Itās all about making memories and enjoying these moments together. Stay positive and dream big!
