Check of the forecast.
So the rain is starting to let up, but roads are wet.
Wet leaves are all over the place.
Visibility is still reduced and we're going to be dealing
with a little more wet weather for the next few hours.
But the heavy stuff is offshore. You can see all
this lightning here out over the Atlantic south of Long Island.
It's going to clip or come very close to the east end,
although everything is starting to move farther to the east.
But we are concerned with more of this rain coming out
of D. C. As we drop down and take a closer look here.
Just coming offshore Monmouth County, Ocean County.
There's a swath of some of that steadier rain,
so that's going to be letting up, which is good news.
But still, we are humid. It's going to be mild for a while.
The clouds are hugging the area all the way back
into eastern Pennsylvania. So the cold front hasn't cleared yet.
When it does, though, we are in the clear.
Tomorrow is sort of a transition day.
There may be a couple of sprinkles early and clouds,
but then we'll see full on sunshine on Sunday.
I lowered the temperatures a little bit.
It's going to be breezy tomorrow, drying us out easily,
and then Sunday looks like a nice day, too.
But you'll need the jackets.
You'll need a wardrobe change compared
to the 70-degree temperatures we just had the last few days.
So rain in Tom's River.
We're still going to be dealing
with showers through the evening commute.
This is certainly lighter than what we had for the morning commute.
And then all of this tapers off and dries out later on.
After sunset overnight, the sky will start to clear up and the rain
forecast for the state as a whole really goes away for several days.
So we have another dry stretch upon us,
maybe some showers about another week from now.
So right now, future cast shows the wet weather is still there.
It will start to peel fully away from the state after sunset throughout
the evening and then over the next
overnight into the pre dawn
starts to clear tomorrow.
developing out there, but
noticeably cooler highs o
the weekend. Stick around
