STORM WATCH: Heavy downpours possible throughout the day in The Bronx

Some wet weather, right, Skyler? Yep, we've already been dealing with that so far. There's going to be additional rounds during the overnight, and unfortunately, as we head throughout our Friday. All right, nothing too severe? Nothing severe, but there is the opportunity to have some isolated flash flooding, both from the intensity of the rain at times, but more so from the fact that we're still dealing with fall leaves on the ground, and that can lead to any amount of water to bring those leaves into the drainage system and could cause some clogs. Now I do think this is slightly overdone when you're looking at all day rain. That's not going to be the case, but we do have all day chances for some rain. We're going to start with a morning surge of some raindrops. That's going to continue into early parts of the afternoon. We're going to get some breaks here and there. However, the good news is a lot of the system has fallen apart and what hasn't is mostly staying to our south and east, but we're still going to get some of it and that could lead to some downpours. So in terms of the umbrella being needed, you want that for your Friday and you might want it at times on Saturday. Now Saturday is not a rainy day overall by any means, but you do have that opportunity to have some of those raindrops. You can see those chances diminish a whole lot as we head into the weekend. By Sunday, you're nice and dry, but until we get there, we do have those repeated rain chances, mainly during the day on Friday.
