Weekend weather improves as rain moves out in The Bronx

Time now for a check of the weather. It's a good segue talking about all that flooding, all that rainwater. I mean, those leaves really creating a problem in many areas. They were indeed. And we had some decent rain across the borough, anywhere from half an inch to between one and two inches. Now, in terms of what's going to happen over the next few hours, we're going to notice this lessening and lessening, which does mean the worst of this is out of the way, which is good news. But if you do have any of those residual flooding issues, just be mindful that those could continue. Now, in terms of what we're looking at, mostly just some lighter nuisance rain now, but we've been dealing with that all day. It's been a gray day, not the most beautiful, but you can see this bullseye that we kind of talked about that it sets up in one area and that's the area that's going to continue to get drenched. And for some of us that was in our area, but the worst of it did stay to the south and east, which is good news, but we still had some of those flooding concerns from some of those leaves, things like that, that estimated rainfall anywhere between an inch to between two and three inches in some areas in the borough. So want to be mindful as you progress throughout the rest of today that we're We're through the worst of this. But there still could be some lingering showers, but Saturday's trending even better.
