It is our last day of RV camping in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and we are packing up to head home! Before we make the long drive south, we squeeze in a few more epic adventures with Kira and Eleanor. Our first stop is an old mine dump in Champion, Michigan, to search for specular hematite. The ground looks like it is covered in sparkling silver glitter! After finding some beautiful shiny rocks, we drive over to hike the beautiful but slightly terrifying trails at Canyon Falls. The path has steep drops and missing edges, but the rushing waterfalls are absolutely breathtaking to see in person.

Once we finish our treacherous waterfall hike, we pull off the fastest RV teardown ever and hit the road. We are taking the scenic route down US 2 along Lake Michigan to enjoy the amazing sand dune views. We also make a surprise stop at Northland Outfitters in Germfask to meet Benny the Beard Fisher! He is a massive wooden troll built along the river and the details are absolutely incredible.

We end the night battling crazy wind speeds across the Mackinac Bridge and letting the huskies review some drive thru chicken nuggets. Most importantly, I share a huge surprise with you all! We are officially launching the brand new Memphis Memorial Plushie! She features a beautiful butterfly instead of wings and her signature green paws.
