My Dogs Go CRAZY Playing In The Living Room!

What a day we had today! It started out with some super sweet grassnapping and snuggle time with Kira and Eleanor. They know all the best shady spots in the yard for those cool morning naps on the grass. After making sure the girls were nice and spoiled with some frozen apples, I loaded up to drive Dan up to Mackinaw City. Jamie stayed back at the house to work on fixing our well and hang out with the dogs, though we thought about taking them along with us.

While up in Mackinaw, we made some iconic stops! We hit up Murdiick's Fudge for my absolute favorite German chocolate fudge, grabbed some tasty chips at The Mackinaw Chip Company, and checked out the cool Wolverine and Spartan displays. I dropped Dan off at his cabin, hung out doing the longest Midwestern goodbye ever, and even stopped by the casino where I managed to win back $194! Pretty good considering I only put $40 in! Meanwhile, Dan caught some awesome late night footage of the newly fixed lights on the Mackinaw Bridge while relaxing in his tent watching F1 racing.

When I made it back home, the girls gave me the best welcome ever, even though it was super muggy out! We spent the evening hanging out in the yard, watching the huskies try to dig up a peanut bush, and dealing with some hilarious indoor dog wrestling. We finished off the day with an evening walk to go look for bunnies before calling it a night.
