Today is another beautiful day with our Siberian Huskies Kira and Eleanor. The weather started out absolutely perfect so I headed over to the cabin house fixer upper to check on Jamie and his cousin. They are working hard on the roof repair and trying to beat the rain! It feels like this small house renovation project is taking longer than expected but they are making great progress. I am so excited for the new windows and siding coming soon.

Back at home the wind is knocking acorns all over the yard so I broke out the acorn roller machine to clean them up. The huskies love to run around and get into trouble while I do yard work. Speaking of trouble Eleanor decided to dig the absolute deepest hole in the sand pit! She got totally carried away with her two paw digging and threw dirt right into Kiras face! Kira was not thrilled about her dirty surprise but her eye is looking so much better after those mosquito bites.

We wrapped up the evening with a delicious spaghetti dinner and a beautiful sunset walk around the neighborhood. The dogs were on high alert and we actually spotted a tiny little bunny! Eleanor was so excited she did six full bedtime spins before finally settling down for the night. Life is short so make sure you make memories with your dogs!
