In today's Siberian Husky vlog, we are heading out on another busy day in Northern Michigan with the dogs. Kira had a morning vet appointment to get her eye checked out because one eye has been running constantly and causing some bad tear staining on her fur. We wanted to make sure her tear ducts were not impacted, so the vet did a special test using bright fluorescent yellow dye and a blacklight to see if it would drain properly through her nose. The great news is her tear ducts are completely clear, so she just has some eye drops for a week to clear up any irritation. The funny part is Jamie somehow ended up with an eye issue at the exact same time, so he and Kira are actually on the exact same medication!
Back at home, the girls have been totally obsessed with the base of our patio umbrella. Jamie and I lifted it, rinsed it down, and looked everywhere, but we still have no clue what scent they are tracking under there. Eleanor treated us to her signature lunch dance with all the stompies, and we also did our daily Eye Envy routine to help clean up the rest of Kira's tear stains. Between waiting on news about my Jeep being fixed in Gaylord and testing out the video quality on my new Google Pixel 11 Pro XL, the Michigan weather threw us some rain. Once the rain cleared up just in time for sunset, we took both huskies out for a walk around the neighborhood where they spotted tons of tiny wild bunnies in the grass!
