The Return of Mud Puppy Season! š¾ The Dogs Are Digging!
The snow is melting, and you know what that meansāMud Puppy Season has officially returned to our backyard! Kira and Memphis wasted no time finding their favorite digging spots as soon as the ground thawed. While the dogs are busy getting messy, Jamie, his uncle, and his cousin have loaded up the sleds and headed across the border to Canada for a snowmobiling adventure. Itās going to be a quiet few days here with just me and the girls, but we are keeping busy and staying positive!
With Jamie away, Iām keeping a close eye on the Michigan weather. We have a Winter Storm Warning on the horizon with potential ice and power outages. Iāve been getting everything prepared, from checking the backup generator to making sure the dogs are comfortable. Memphis had a bit of a belly issue recently, but she seems to be doing much better today and even slept through my vlog updates!
We also took a little spring break trip to the NOAA building to see the storm simulator and caught up on some chores around the house. The girls finished their day with some yummy bully sticks in their favorite holders to keep them occupied while it rains outside. Even though Dad is gone and a storm is coming, we are making memories and staying ready for whatever the Michigan weather throws at us!
