Time To Switch Up The Walk with the Dogs!

What started out as a rainy, thunderstormy morning where we all just wanted to be lazy on the couch ended up turning into such a fun evening adventure! Once the storms finally cleared up, Jamie and I decided to pack up the girls and head downtown for a walk to get a change of pace. We walked past Culligan Plaza to check out the pretty flowers and the water feature, and we even stumbled right into the local city band playing a live concert at the bandshell in the park!
Eleanor and Kira loved taking in all the sights and sounds as we walked along the pier, looked out over the lake at a giant freighter, and spotted the buoys marking the sunken ships out in the harbor. After getting our steps in and enjoying the cooler evening air, we headed back home so the girls could cool down with a special treat bully stick rocket pops!
