Oh my gosh, it is finally nice enough again for us to be out here enjoying the sunshine. The weather hit a gorgeous 75 degrees, the grass is looking so green, and Jamie even got the pool open, warmed up, and perfectly balanced! Eleanor is already staring through the gate trying to figure out how to sneak in for a swim, and Kira and Memphis have found their favorite shady spot to relax. We even saw Memphis get incredibly locked onto something by the shed, and it has been so long since we've seen her stalk and hunt like that! We are pretty sure our backyard bunny friend is still hiding out under there.
After a beautiful dog walk where Kira tried her absolute best to eat a giant side salad of tall grass, we headed back to test out a brand new ebike! The awesome team at Aipas sent us their F3 Max folding electric bike to try out. Jamie took it for a spin down the bike path to check out the beautiful Memorial Day flags lined up along the river. This bike has full front and rear suspension, turn signals, and Jamie was even able to ride it completely no-handed with ease!
While we were out riding, we even got to do a little bit of local bird watching and spotted a stunning scarlet tanager, and yes, I totally proved Jamie wrong about it being a cardinal! We wrapped up our perfect day by heading back to check on the girls chilling in the AC, watching the neighborhood squirrels take the "squirrel highway" across our barn roof, and getting ready to grill up some hot dogs and watch the hockey game.

🐿️ Spotting our little red squirrel friends hanging out at their favorite feeder.
🐦 Catching a glimpse of a rare scarlet tanager bird hidden in the trees.
🪵 Watching the local squirrels run across their favorite "squirrel highway" on the barn.
🌭 Heading inside to empty my phone storage, make hot dogs, and watch some hockey.
