Today is packed full of surprises and fun. I started my day at Second Chance Animal Shelter visiting some adorable polydactyl kittens with extra toes! They are so incredibly cute. I also want to introduce you all to a very special rescue named Moose. He just had a major surgery to remove his eye and he needs our help. I am putting a link below to the shelter so we can all pitch in and get Moose the care he needs. He is such a sweet little survivor and I know our amazing community can step up for him.

Back at home the huskies are so incredibly happy because Jamie is finally taking a day off! He finished the roof on the cabin house and we saved so much money doing it ourselves instead of hiring a massive team. Kira and Eleanor are absolutely thrilled to have their dad home to snuggle on the couch with them. The weather is beautiful but a little rainy so we are mostly enjoying a cozy day inside.

We also had a very close call in the yard today when I had to rescue an American dagger moth caterpillar before the dogs could touch it! That would have been a disaster. To cap off this wonderful day we made a delicious hamburger tomato basil soup from our cooking channel and listened to the girls sing along while Jamie played his guitar downstairs. Life is short, Make memories with your dogs!
