We Never Wanted This Camping With Dog Trip To End! Heading Home!

What is your dog's absolute favorite thing to do as soon as you get home from a trip?
We are packing up the Jayco RV and officially heading home from our incredible camping trip up north! The dogs had an absolute blast, but it is time to hit the road and head back to Alpena. Before we even crossed the bridge, we had to check on the aftermath of that forest fire we spotted and called in. It is wild to see exactly where it happened and know that we helped stop it from turning into a massive disaster!

On the drive back, we made our mandatory quick stop at park to let the girls stretch their legs, and then we braved the five-mile Mackinac Bridge! Once we finally made it back home, the girls were so excited to run around their own yard, even if it looked like it was snowing popple tree pollen everywhere! We also realized we accidentally left water in the baby pool, which turned into a total pollen trap. Whoops!

To cap off an amazing trip, we took the girls out for a neighborhood walk to sniff my absolute favorite flowers, the lilacs! We even spotted a very camouflaged bunny along the way. Looking back on this trip, it makes me so happy that my mom got to experience Tahquamenon Falls so close up for the first time ever thanks to the new walkway. Life is short, make memories with your dogs! Stay positive, dream big, and we will see you again soon!

🐰 Spotting a hidden bunny on our favorite walking route.
