My Dog JUMPED On The Swimming Pool Cover Full of WATER!

What were you thinking? What are you doing? You can't jump in. The pool's not open. Oh, no, I don't know where he went. Good wonderful, beautiful morning potty ants. I filled the feeder this morning. Yesterday we got some really pretty... I already forgot what they're called, but yellow birds that showed up. The mom and the dad. I don't know where their nest is. We got some yellow birds that showed up to the feeder and a grackle showed up to the feeder and we'll just show you some birds that showed up at the feeder. There's the dad to the babies right there. He just scared the grackle away. He's out there. I wish I could see that yellow bird though. Oh, is that mom up there? Yep, looks like mom and dad are right up there in the tree. Maybe we should go check on the babies while they're not on the nest. Yeah, let's go check on the babies. It is supposed to be 83 degrees today and we are under a severe thunderstorm warning. Starting now actually, so could be interesting today. You're wondering where Memphis is. Hi Memphis! Was you under there because dad was working at his computer? Sleeping under here. The floor is nice and cold. And yeah, we went from having the heat on to turning the air conditioning on. Yeah, okay. Come on my bucket. Check them out. Oh my goodness, you got so big. Any day now, they could be jumpers. I'm probably gonna set the GoPro up for a little bit today so we can see them. They're getting big. We're just worried about that fall onto concrete and not grass. So we might have to put a blanket or something here. They should be okay, but you know, just in case. From everything I read, it does say that baby birds have a good bounce and that like we shouldn't really overthink it. They should be okay. You don't want to put too much stuff underneath there because then they can get like tangled in it. So I don't know what we're gonna do. We might put something down there. We might not. I'm just hoping they like it. So Jamie's seeing squirrel friends for the first time, figuring out. He's so mad. Uh-huh. That's where he was jumping to the feeder. Remove the feeder. Yeah. He's been out there yelling for probably 10 minutes. Yeah, he's not happy. Well, and he ate all the peanuts. Yes. So yesterday at least he wasn't yelling because he had peanuts. He can't figure out how to get on the feeder now though. He can't figure it out. I watched him try again and he can't figure it out. Yep, so he's mad. Yeah, cuz we ended up moving the feeder right there. Because the branch, he can't get on that branch and jump down to it. Don't tell him. Don't tell him, then he'll figure it out. Hi. How are you shedding more? Did I not just blow your coat out? What is going on? You're, you're so disheveled looking. Oh, now we're gonna watch squirrel friend. Okay, now you watch squirrel friend. Because of the cold weather and then the warm weather, like I said, we're looking for severe thunderstorms today. And until, I think it's at 8 o'clock tonight. Pop-up thunderstorms and all that fun stuff. We had one last night, which was not horrible because the weather last night was only 50-55 yesterday. Just crazy cuz today it's 83. It looks like clouds. They're coming. It feels like it could storm. Look out! She's coming! And she made it in. Oh my gosh. Oh my goodness. Apparently you got your feet wet. What are you doing? Come on, you gotta get out of here. Eleanor, come here. She's like, yeah, but that was really fun. I really enjoyed it. Even you got on the pool cover. Come on. No, that's the wrong go. Oh gosh, hi. Memphis, please don't walk down onto the water. Apparently we all just want to be on this side. Oh, but the bunny was over here. Well, they stirred up some of the, no, don't you dare. They stirred up some of the, some of the dirt on the cup. Don't you dare. No, Memphis! You're lucky there's a seat. Don't do that. She's like, whoa. Yeah, Memphis is like, hey, this uh, this not so bad guys. They're not so bad. What do you think? It's like therapy, huh? For those of you that are gonna freak out, we are right here. They are okay, and I'm gonna put the phone down and help her out now. Jamie and I got her out and she got back in. So apparently this is all we needed, hun. It was a pool that deep and she'd be happy. Yeah? That's gotta feel good on her legs. Somebody's rolling in worms. Does that feel good on your leggies? All right. I'm gonna help you out again. This time I'm putting you on the other side of the fence. I guess we, I guess we accidentally let the dogs in. That's pretty cute though. That's, that's what we got yesterday. All that is rainwater only from last night and you started draining it. Yeah, it's been going for quite a while. It just wasn't on overnight. Right, and you probably should turn it on again, cause... It's just gonna stay on. Yeah. Oh, that's so funny though. Jamie decided to hook the, so this is what we used to pump the water out of the pool. And Jamie hooked it to his sprinkler cause he planted some grass seed over here as well. I think it's that little filter in there. Yeah. Yeah, because there's like stuff in here as you can see like just like tree stuff. Jamie put a screen on this. And it's probably already plugged. It's probably already plugged. Let's find out. Yep, it is plugged. Plugged a little seedies. That's probably not gonna work. Still better than that getting plugged. Yeah, but I'm not gonna babysit it. Yeah, probably not the... Not the most fun thing to do. Are you happy with yourself? You had so much fun. And then you come running into the house. You happy with yourself? Got your paws wet? My goodness! So yes, as I said. Don't freak out that the dogs were on the pool cover. The pool cover is designed to hold a lot of weight. And we were out there. And in two seconds flat. Jamie and I would jump in and save the dogs. They would actually, to even fall through. They would have to like rip and tear. And the whole thing would have to go. It would take a lot. Jamie tests that thing a couple times a year. When he goes out there and walks on it and jumps on it. Just to make sure that everything is taught and the way it's supposed to be. And he actually did that the other day when he was cleaning it. So, I know people are gonna freak out about it. But, they're fine. Look! They're fine! You had way too much fun! That's what we need. We need a little waiting pool just for you. Did that make you feel that good? Are you going upside down? Are you going all the way? Are you going to tip all the way over? Your belly is still wet. Are you going to go all the way? There you go! Your belly is still wet. Look at you! Your butt is all wet. Did that make you feel amazing? Guys, that was pretty amazing. Yeah? Pretty stinking amazing, huh? I've been watching the clouds roll in. It could get interesting. It's only supposed to last like a couple of hours. It's supposed to be from like, I think it said 430 to 730. And that's it. So, we might get a storm. We might not get a storm. But, we're definitely going to get rain. Regardless. Hopefully the baby birds do okay. Alright! It's starting to get significantly more windy. The clouds look like that. I heard thunder once. Woo! They said there was 80 mph winds down state. Woo! I think I'm going to go back inside now. I know we already saw some bird footage and some GoPro bird footage. But, you're going to notice now there's a little bit of fencing to kind of make the nest a little bit wider. They're not quite ready to come out of there yet. But, Jamie's got this attached to the door with a bungee cord. And this is kind of just to prepare for the storm. We don't want them getting blown out of there and falling. Yes, eventually they're going to fly out of the nest. But, we're just trying to help them. While we watch for this crazy storm to roll in. Which could get pretty crazy. Okay! It's not long before the rain is supposed to be here. Quick! You too! Honey, come on! Jamie, you got to push her this way. Come on Memphis! Come on! She's like, mom I was napping so hard. I know you were so happy, but we got to go. Here, I'll let you two out. We got to go before it gets bad. Come on! Come on, cause you're not going to want to go out there in like 15 minutes. Do a thing, so we can go inside. Oh my goodness! Okay, I think the rain is here. Holy cow! Wow! Oh my goodness! This is insane! I was trying to get her out here fast enough, so she could go to the bathroom. But she was so sleepy. It said this wasn't gonna start for another 15 minutes. They were wrong. Do your thing! You're gonna be so wet! You're not Dorothy! Come on! Oh my gosh! Look at this! Wow! There goes the swing! There goes Jamie's fence! Hey! Can we come in? This is too scary! Yeah! The fence is moving back there. I don't know if you can see that. But it is. I'm getting wet because the dog is getting wet. Oh! The poor trees! Hopefully we don't lose power. A lot of these trees are still damaged from the ice storm. She won't go to the bathroom! She's just like wandering! Are you good now? She didn't do anything. No! Let her in! Watch her going up the steps. Holy cow Jamie! That was terrifying! This is insane! Your fence fell down. Okay! We'll have to remember that. The swing flew into the middle of the yard. Yeah! I saw that. We should just take the top of it off. I don't know. Holy cow! You want to go out there and fix it right now? Okay! I'm going in! Yeah! Right? Wow! Wow is right! It came out of nowhere! It didn't. We knew it was coming. You're soaked! Oh hon! Dry your dog off! Can you hear it? Alright! The siren is going off. I don't know if you guys will be able to hear it. I'm going to crack this window. I think all we're going to hear is rain. Hear it? The storm siren is going off. It means severe weather. Can you hear it now? There it is! I know... Is it a tornado warning or just a severe weather warning? We're going to have to look. I know! I know! I opened the window. I'll leave it open a little bit. But not that much. Maybe you can hear it back here. We just looked. It's the severe weather alert. Not a tornado siren. It's going off! The hail is starting now. Not a lot of it. We just got the warning that it was going to hail. Huh! Well, both the cars are outside and the RV. Not like we can do a whole lot. We can fit one in the garage and that's it. I don't see much hail yet. Maybe we'll get lucky and it will pass us. We'll see. We saw a couple of pieces and started kind of panicking. Okay! Update! It didn't hail. Look! It's going to stop raining. The heavy part of this was supposed to last until five o'clock. Then it's supposed to be light rain. Then it's supposed to be done by seven thirty. Yeah! It will be passed by seven thirty. I think that was the worst of it. It's hard to say. It's kind of a big old whoosh coming through. Right! It's kind of merging together. Some bigger thunderstorms. Right! It's hard to say. Right now, there's an opening. Things are going north. Things are going south. There's still things that haven't come here. Yeah! It hit Greg fifteen minutes after it hit here. Because there was a big curve. Yeah! It was. I told Greg, I'm like, it's here and holy cow it's windy. He goes, it's not here yet. I know he's watching the radar. I'm like, you're getting rain now. He goes, oh yeah, wind picked up. It's nuts. What you think Memphis? You might be able to go outside before seven thirty. I think you'll be okay. Yeah! You won't be blown away. After a couple hours of rain, we're okay in here. The GoPro died. I did get some footage of them while it was raining. But they're good. They're all still in there. And the rain completely stopped. And now it's kind of pretty out. And much cooler than it was. On earth, did you convince us to take you for a walk in the rain? No, it's just sprinkling. Awww! Oh my gosh, we're going. We're doing just a short one. Because we're trying to watch hockey. So we're in between periods. Short for Memphis, so she gives it up. Memphis, you win. We'll call this Bunny Alley from now on. I am. When we were leaving, I saw the bunnies. But I don't know if they're still out. You sound like you're walking through mud there, hun. It's a little choppy. It rained really hard. What did they say it was? Just over an inch. In like two hours. Which is a lot. In a very little amount of time. I don't see no bunnies. We'll keep an eye out. I don't see no Abbey dog either, sorry. I have spotted a bunny. Right there. Is a bunny. We will see if the dogs spot the bunny. Where's the bunny? There's just the one I think. It's right in that yard. Where's the bunny, Kira? She sees him. She's gotta see him. Eleanor sees him. Where's the bunny? Where's that bunny? Eleanor's like, I see him. I don't see anymore right now, but there was a bunny. And the rain has stopped. I hear spring peepers like mosquitoes. I hear all kinds of things. Frogs. The rain has stopped.
