This Old Dog DEMANDED A Walk, So What Did I do?

It is another chilly, rainy day here in Alpena, Michigan, but that isn't stopping the adventure! We start the morning off with some big news! The baby birds in the wreath have finally hatched! Tell me they don't look like Skeksis from The Dark Crystal? Now you can never unsee it haha! We are trying to keep our distance so Mama bird can do her thing, but it’s so exciting to see life returning to the trees, even if it’s taking its sweet time in this 37°F weather.
Inside the house, Jamie and I are testing FOOD!. I found Firecracker Oreos at Aldi and let’s just say... they are an experience! Between the raspberry, lemon, and cherry flavors, they definitely remind us of a summer rocket pop. We also show off some brand new color-changing 3D printed dragons that just hit our Etsy shop! It’s been a busy day of 3D printing and indoor fun while we wait for the rain to let up.

Of course, the dogs are the real stars of the show. Memphis has been very vocal about wanting her daily walk, even if it’s freezing outside. Since she is a senior girl, she is very set in her ways! I took her out for a solo stroll around the block to visit her favorite spots, including a check-in at my brother’s house to see if her favorite humans were home. Kira is also feeling much better after her recent tummy troubles, and Eleanor is busy keeping an eye on the neighbor's new addition. Life is never boring with Siberian Huskies!
