Do your dogs love playing in the pool when it gets warm out, or do they prefer to stay dry on the sidelines like Eleanor? Let us know in the comments below! It was a balmy 80° outside, so Jamie got the pool all set up and the girls were ready to dive right in. Eleanor was trying to rescue her squishy balls from the water, while Kira went full send and just splashed straight in! Memphis’s little pool even got some fresh rainwater action when a quick sprinkle passed over. After a little cooling down, we took a walk around the yard to check out the clover flowers, keep our eyes peeled for bunnies, and watch the girls try to track anything moving in the woods.
We also gave you guys a quick update on Kira's eye staining. I tried using wipe-cleans, but it ended up spreading the iron staining a bit more, so we’re just letting nature take its course—she’s still our beautiful girl no matter what! Plus, we had to double-check the yard for pesky mushrooms that popped up right after the warm rain.
Later on, Jamie and I headed out to Mount Pleasant for a sold-out Shinedown concert at Soaring Eagle Casino with 13,500 other fans! Uncle Greg stayed with the girls so they weren't alone. After some late-night chicken tenders, we made the drive back and got home at 2:00 AM to the sweetest, happiest husky greetings ever.

Good wonderful beautiful morning Pawdience. Geez, I let you outside to go potty and you're already in the pool area.
It's a balmy 80 degrees already today.
Jamie was out here working on the pool and I didn't realize it when I let the dogs out there.
Just like we're over here now. You're gonna get in now? Are you going for it? Remember it moves.
Just remember that it moves.
You don't have to get in yet. You know, just get in later.
She's like, but all of my squishy balls are trapped in the pool.
Is that almost as good as the hose?
Almost as good as the hose?
Kira's like, yeah, this is pretty fun.
Eleanor's like, maybe just a little. No, no, no, maybe a little. I like how she has like the little licks and Kira just goes for it.
Kira's like, I'm just going for it.
Is that fun stuff?
Eleanor's like, I don't know, maybe.
Yeah, Kira definitely goes for it.
Is that good?
Yeah, a little too much, huh?
Eleanor's like, okay, maybe I would try.
Maybe I would try.
Ready, El?
Not even close. Not even close to what Kira does.
Well, I kind of wish I would have been filming that. That was funny.
I left the dogs out.
We've been getting some stuff done inside and there was a squirrel way back there and Eleanor was like stalking the squirrel.
Oh, it is raining.
It is raining.
Just barely.
They said it was supposed to rain around four o'clock. It was like a 20% chance and then that was supposed to go away and
well, it's now 530 and
it's raining. Just a little bit. It's hitting the pool though, and there's that train.
Jamie's been washing stuff and hanging it out here.
I should probably take it inside so it doesn't get wet.
Oh, and I want to put these inside so they don't fade. Look, kids, little swimmies.
Hi, how you doing?
You gonna get in your pool?
Back in your pool for a little bit?
Maybe not? Okay. It's raining.
Now it's raining more. Took all the stuff off the fence since it was pretty much dry.
Huh.
Well, I was supposed to make grilled chicken sandwiches on the Blackstone for dinner. I guess I'm not doing that.
Well, at least not right now.
It's not supposed to rain for long. Wasn't supposed to rain at all right now.
But I guess it's not supposed to rain for long.
So look, you can see it on the pool. A little bit of rainwater for the pool ain't gonna hurt nothing.
So I'm not gonna close the pool. What do you think? Does that feel still good?
Oh, the temperature feels so much better.
Oh, it feels so much better after it rains.
Yeah, so much better.
It's raining in the baby pool too. Little Memphis pool. In the little Memphis pool. What do you think?
Yeah, you can drink that water. That's fresh water.
Yeah.
It's a good stuff.
All right, I guess we should go inside in case it starts raining harder. What do you think?
Should we go inside for a little bit?
Go on.
Maybe we'll go look for bunnies later.
I know. The mark on your eye that I tried to clean. Look it. Let me show them.
Sakira has that eye staining and look, I tried to clean it and I made it worse.
So we're no longer using the angel eyes to clean it because it just made it worse.
My goodness. You want inside?
Oh, somebody's loud out there.
Ready? Let's go inside.
Good job. So I think I talked about it a little bit in yesterday's video the day before but Kira has
eye staining on that one eye and I was using the angel eye wipes and
trying to like clean it off a little bit because it said use it twice a day and do all this stuff and it just
made the staining spread.
It's basically iron in her whatever. I don't know what it's called. It's not like a huge thing.
It's just a cosmetic thing. So I was gonna try to clean it.
I'm not doing that again because I feel like it's just spread it everywhere and stained her fur more.
So you guys will probably be seeing that for the next like four weeks in her fur.
I'm not, I'm not gonna try anything else to get it out. I'm not, I don't want to use anything harsh.
I don't want to use anything crazy. It is what it is.
Even though it bothers me. It'll, it'll be just fine.
Do you guys deal with that with your dogs? Have you, what have you used?
I think I asked this the other day in a video, but I don't know. That was a couple days ago.
I don't know what day it is.
Actually, I do. Tomorrow we have a Shinedown concert to go to.
Which I'm probably not gonna vlog the whole day because it's mostly a driving day.
Greg's gonna come watch the dogs, but maybe it'll go somewhere towards the end of this video.
It'll be a little bit of what we did tomorrow. We'll see.
And I'm getting ready to make dinner just like that. The Sun came back out.
It rained for like 30 minutes and not even really rained. It like sprinkled and that was it.
Eleanor's like, mom, maybe I could eat this chicken. No, I don't think you're gonna eat the chicken, honey. Sorry.
Look what I found!
A mushroom.
A little tiny one.
I don't know what kind it is. It's the trash kind. No, you're not eating it.
Trash kind.
I guess I better look again. Jamie cut the grass this morning. He looked before he cut.
They pop up real fast.
Especially when it's warm and humid and after the rain.
What do you think?
I'm gonna go toss the mushroom.
Made dinner. We had grilled chicken sandwiches on the Blackstone. They were okay.
I've got to perfect the way I make them.
But we got flowers over here too. I was just noticing.
Oh, they're the little clover flowers.
I wonder if we'll end up with a whole bunch of those back here since we planted a mixture of clover and grass back here.
I don't see any little flowers just yet.
Not yet.
Isn't that beautiful?
It got really nice out, didn't it?
Sure did.
Don't get too loud.
She's being pretty quiet today.
Pretty quiet.
Hey hun.
There's a firework on the ground.
I see that.
Do you think it's exploded?
Yes.
Oh my gosh, I don't think we could ask for nicer weather.
This is beautiful.
I'd say we got two days of this and then back to 95 and 97.
Yeah, but if it drops off to 75 in your pocket night...
Yeah, we'll be in the pool.
We'll take it.
It'll be fun.
I don't know about being in the pool at 8 o'clock at night when it's only 75, but when it's 93 at noon...
Yeah, yeah, we'll be in the pool.
We're gonna go live in there.
Happy doggos.
Happy happy doggos.
Oh, she's doing the dance.
The bunny just ran right across.
Hopefully it's not getting in my brother's yard.
Or Stewart will learn what bunny tastes like.
He was over there. You saw him.
Did you hear him?
Oh my goodness, did you hear him?
He's walking in the woods over there.
He sure was.
The little clover flowers are out.
Oh, they are.
Yeah, they like to eat those.
We have some of those in our yard.
Just the little white ones, not purple ones though.
Yeah, it's probably the same color.
They're not that big though.
No, they're not that big.
No, I showed them on camera earlier today, cause you cut the grass and there's little white flowers.
And I went, how did these end up staying here?
Oh, I didn't get the front one.
No, it was in the backyard.
White flowers still in the backyard?
Yeah, there's like six of them.
I'll have to show you when we get home.
In the back grass.
Yeah, in the back grass.
I didn't mow the back grass.
Oh, well that would be why.
I thought you did.
Oh, okay.
Hey, I knew I heard the lawn mower going.
Eleanor.
I know.
Well, maybe we'll find more bunnies.
I know, we're looking.
We're looking for the bunnies.
Kira's like, eh, I'm looking.
There's butterflies in the milkweed.
Oh, how fun.
Or not milkweed, what did we call it?
No, that was milkweed.
I wanna go look and see if we can see it closer.
This, whatever this is.
You said it was milkweed.
I thought we looked it up and it said it was milkweed.
I bet it is.
It could be.
You going down there to look for the deer?
But I don't see the butterfly.
I don't see any chrysalises either.
Come on, we're not gonna go look for the deer.
We're gonna go look for the bunnies.
I was looking for the butterfly.
Those smell really good.
I'm glad they left those there.
There's a bunny.
Right there.
Kira smells him. Yeah, she smells him.
She's like, the bunny was right here, guys.
I wanna track him. Oh, he just took off.
Might end up in front of us.
Finding the bunnies.
I seen no more bunnies.
Did you see more bunnies, Kira?
No more bunnies.
Well, our bunny might be in the yard.
I don't know.
Our bunny was in the neighbor yard last night.
I know, we're going.
Kira thinks that the hose is on
in the water bowl.
The hose isn't on, honey.
The hose could be on though.
My goodness.
I told you it was still warm out.
You wanted to come outside.
Is she gonna do it again?
Yep, there she goes.
Are you stirring it around?
I don't know that
any of you do what Memphis used to do.
Memphis would stick her whole face in the bowl.
But, these two don't really do that.
The hose is not on, Kira.
I'm sorry. It's not.
It's not and there's no bunnies
in the yard. I'm sorry.
Somebody said the other day that
they're worried about that dead tree.
I tell you what, we watched
a lot of crazy wind come through this yard.
That tree don't move.
The big dead pine over there?
Yeah.
It doesn't move.
It's just kind of there.
Eventually, I'm sure one day it will come down.
It's clear though.
Oh yeah.
Yeah.
We can help her take it down.
When that wind storm came through the other day,
that tree didn't move.
It barely sways cause there's nothing
for the wind to grab a hold of.
It's just a big stick.
The problem is, it will be like
when our tree way back there fell down.
The ground underneath
was where the tree was dead all the way down
and then the roots just let go.
That's what will happen.
No.
Yep.
Yeah. Yep.
It's pretty tall. It's as tall as our maple.
What are you doing now?
Checking things out.
Tina's got apples on her apple tree over there.
I see apples.
There's apples on the tree.
What? Oh my goodness.
It is the next day.
Jamie and I are heading out to go to a concert.
Greg's gonna come over and watch the dogs for a little bit.
We'll film a little bit.
See what can make it in the vlog and what can't.
We're heading down right now.
Be good. Be good.
Greg will be here in a few.
I don't even know if I said who we were going to see.
We went to Soaring Eagle Casino
down in Mount Pleasant, Michigan
to see Shine Down.
The openers were Coheed and Cambria and Ashes to New.
This was a sold out show.
There was 13,500 people here.
It was crazy.
We got lawn seats as we normally do
when we go to Soaring Eagle.
Next time I think we'll actually get real seats
because holy cow this place was packed.
We had an absolute blast.
Of course we can't share most of the music
because copyright.
But here's a little bit
of what we saw as I talk over it
so that we don't get hit
with a copyright strike.
I'm vlogging you trying the sauce.
The concert just ended.
There's a bunch of people funneling out
and Jamie and I didn't eat dinner
so we're having chicken tenders and fries
because we're adults.
We do need ice cream.
We got food from the chicken guy
inside the casino.
The concert was good.
I'm ready to go home and see the dogs.
They're good.
This is supposed to be extra crispy
but I think they forgot some of the breading.
But this one looks really good.
They're also super hot because they just made them.
Not going to eat that quite yet.
The concert was good and we're only like
2 hours and 20 minutes from home so not that bad.
We just got to keep our eyes open
for deer the whole way home.
Don't burn yourself.
Is it good?
Did you burn yourself?
Uh-huh.
Yeah, be careful.
Oh my goodness, it's 2 in the morning.
We're home.
I know, you girls already got all excited.
Why do we have to go outside?
Okay, I'll come outside with you.
I know, did you miss us?
Okay, I'm out here. Now go do your thing
so we can go to bed because it's 2 o'clock in the morning.
Oh no, dad, you got to come out here too.
Dad, you got to come out here too.
She's like, Greg come and hang out with us
but it was weird.
She's like, we didn't know what was going on.
Hi Kira.
Kira's like, I know what was going on but it was weird.
Yeah, I know.
Yeah, go to potty
so we can go to bed. Go.
Go, because I would like to go to bed.
I think they missed you.
I think so.
Seriously?
That was the first time we left them
for more than like 2 hours.
Since Memphis passed.
So I don't know if they knew
what to do with themselves.
Who was in charge?
It better have been you.
You were in charge, right?
And they weren't alone the whole time.
Like I said, Greg did come and hang out with them
and then John Carl said he came down
and checked on them as well.
They were not by themselves.
Look at you. Belly's up.
We don't see you with bellies up all that often.
We will take them bellies up, won't we?
We take them.
Alright you guys, we're going to go ahead and end today's video
because it's 2.15 and we need to go to bed.
In the morning.
Alright you guys, we hope you guys enjoyed today's video.
As always, thanks so much for watching.
Thanks for subscribing.
Stay positive. Dream big.
And we will see you again soon.
Goodnight Pawdience.
Side note, on Monday, it's a four hour drive
for me to get home.
Yeah. Goodnight Pawdience.
