Is it Winter or Spring?! ❄️🌱 The Dogs are OVER IT! (So am I)

This year has been just weird when it comes to the weather here in Michigan. One minute it is snowing in May, yes, you heard that right, snow on May 7th, and the next minute we are searching for signs of life in the garden. Memphis, Kira, and Eleanor are definitely wondering where the "Spring" part of Spring went, but they are staying busy helping us clean up sticks and sniffing out critters in the yard!
The big news in today’s vlog is the update on our Christmas wreath guests! If you remember, we had a bird lay eggs in the wreath we never took down, and today we finally got a look at the nest. We have five healthy baby birds! It is so cool to see their little heads peeking up, and we are doing our best to keep them safe and warm during these crazy Michigan freeze warnings.
We also caught a very special visitor on camera, our first hummingbird of the season! Even though it's only 43 degrees outside, he found the feeder Jamie just put up. Between the baby birds, the hummingbirds, and the Siberian Huskies trying to help with the yard work, there is never a dull moment. We are checking on our apple trees and hoping for some warmer weather soon so our garden can finally bloom!

🌱 Checking the garden for life and signs of growth on the apple trees.
🕵️ Memphis sniffing out a mystery critter by the fire pit.
🔥 Keeping warm by the fire while the temperature drops to 34 degrees.
