Husky Wants Inside This Epic Ghost Town Building

Good, wonderful, beautiful morning Pawdience! She's like, I'm thinking about throwing another fit. I'm thinking about it. Girl, you ate all the breakfast. You ate it all. It's gone. It's gone. We're packed up. We're getting ready to leave the hotel today. It is... looks really nice outside, but I don't know if you guys can see the trees moving like crazy. It's super windy up here today. 62°F right now? Yeah, it's supposed to get really hot up here today. It's supposed to be really hot at home, too. So that'll be fun. So we are going to... I think we're gonna go to PetSmart. Wanna go to PetSmart? Wanna go do a shopping haul at the PetSmart? I just ran into Michaels and I didn't buy anything. I didn't buy any Halloween stuff at all and now we're heading up to meet up with our friends and then we got to drive like an hour south and I think we're going to Fayette. What do you think, Fayette? I think that's where we're gonna go. It should be super fun. So we're gonna go do that. I don't know what the colors will look like down there, but they are definitely starting to change more and more each day up here. Look, there's Volkswagen Beetle! I was just gonna say that. It's for sale! We got distracted by the car immediately. We are on the road to Fayette and I was just looking at... You can see what out in the distance, the big wind turbines. So here in a second, you'll see it. Yeah, there's a big one right there. I always forget that these are out here. There's a whole bunch out there. Making a bunch of power. Yeah, not too many people live out here. No, and there's no internet like this whole peninsula. Yeah, so not too many people object to the wind turbines out here. It does kind of, I mean... Part of me feels like they do kind of ruin the landscape, but I don't know, maybe not. I mean... I mean, when you look that way, instead of seeing a pretty field, you see a bunch of spinning blades. Yeah. But they're kind of neat at the same time, like so I don't know how I feel about them. Right. We are almost to Fayette. Alright, you girls gotta wait out here. I'm gonna go inside. You got them for a minute. And then, yes, I will let Jamie go inside. The audience is always so concerned you don't go in the buildings. Uh, sometimes I do. That's what I told him, I'm like, sometimes he does. And sometimes I don't, cause I've already been there. Yeah, so I'm gonna go in. You girls be good. Look, here's all the miniature. You can stand in here. And learn the whole story of Fayette, which is where we're going after. Woo, it's a windy one today. So we made it to Fayette. Kira's never been here. I know we haven't been here in quite a few years. So some of you are new, may not know it's here. There's the big cliffs over there. That's my favorite house in the whole park. Is that one right there? I think so, yeah. I think that was the hotel. It's crazy to think that it's... Daniel and Lauren are filming over there. Over a hundred years old, made out of wood. Yeah, right? I know they restored some of it, but... And then some of the buildings, like that building, they were able to restore, but like this sign here, you can see these footings in the ground? This was a carpenter shop. It's not there anymore. And then, I think inside it said like a lot of the places where the miners lived was like over there. But none of the buildings remained, but they recreated some of them. What did we say? 500 people lived here. 500 people. So 500 people lived out here at Big Bay Denac. It's so crazy. Mining and smelting ore. Yep. Sending it out on boats in that big bay. And we'll take them to the ore smelter. We'll walk over that way. What you think honey? She's like, this is great. I'm gonna sniff all the tings and smell them all. Sorry girls, it's not Mackinac Island. No puppers allowed. Their monthly payroll is awesome. Is it on there? $826. Really? For 153 bullies. We gotta give them a few minutes first before they do that. This is some of the inside of the hotel. So when people would actually come here to stay, they would stay inside this hotel. My favorite is the staircase. We're not allowed to go up there, but I would like to go up there and see what's up there, cause it's cool. There's some more of the buildings. Now we're at the where they melted everything. Where they had these big fires. I'm going in. Hey girls, I'm this way. Oh, pigeons! And in the sand here, they would make the molds for the the pig irons. Jamie's telling the stories about how everything works. And the dogs are like, holy man, there's pigeons! Pigeons! I don't know how close I want to get. Where'd they go? As long as they're not going to fly out at me, we're good. So cool! And it's full of really creepy pigeons. Look at them all up there. This is my favorite view. That's just so cool. We can get down to the water down there, it's kind of shallow. I thought this looked cool right here, so I wanted to come show you that. This is another building right here. And pigeons are making all kinds of noise. There's another one. Jamie and Lauren are out there reading some signs. Oh, I think the dogs went in there. Let's go see if we can find them. It's probably nice and cold in here. Are you in there? Knock knock! And then, right here, there's a big chunk of mushrooms on the side of it. I don't know what kind of mushrooms they are, but... Tree mushrooms. They look pretty cool. It looks like pancakes on the side of the tree. Yeah, it looks like pancakes. So weird. We're out here with the dogs. Where do you think Jamie is? He's picking apples for everybody.
