My Dog Won't Stop Demanding Attention

Oh, look out! The ice... the ice snow is falling off the trees. Maybe I shouldn't let... Oh! Well, excuse me. That just fell on the camera. I'm gonna go back in here, because the snow is attacking it. I'm not kidding. There's... snow on the camera. Good wonderful beautiful morning! Where's the woos? Hello? Yeah! There's a herd of woos! So you guys saw in the previous vlog that we did get a snowstorm. Kira, are you gonna go show everybody? This is the aftermath. We probably got eight inches. It's wet heavy snow, so it kind of packs down, but I would say we got eight inches. Jamie cleaned the driveway twice yesterday, and it still looks like that because it kept snowing all night. But now we have blue skies, and it's supposed to be 45 degrees today. And for those of you wondering how Memphis is doing, she's doing pretty good. She woke up this morning, no limping. Jamie gave her another massage. I gave her a massage. We just want to make sure that her muscles are, you know, nice and good. She seemed to do good. So for pulling the dog sled twice yesterday... Oh, yeah, I know. I went and let Sadie out this morning. You just figured that out. Yeah, so... Thank you for them woos. So for pulling the dog sled twice yesterday, she did pretty good. Are you gonna play with Memphis? You guys want to go outside? You girls want to go outside? I know. Yeah, right there. I know. I petted Sadie and I snuggled Sadie. You just figured this out. I've been home for ten minutes. All right, Kira. I'm gonna let you out without your leash on because I got to sit at the kitchen table and do some stuff. Ready? Three, two, one... SNOOOOOOW! And they're off. Memphis is like, I'm running a little bit, but this snow is really weird. Oh, yeah, we got some snow. It's starting to melt and fall off of all the trees. It's that like... It's so warm out here. It's that crunchy, wet, heavy snow. And it's probably gonna be around for a little bit. The girls are like, yes, let's play! Oh, look out. I mean, I would like to say that this is probably the last big snowstorm we're gonna get, but just never know. Look out Memphis! Here they come! All right girls, be good. I'm gonna run down. My radio is delaminating. So what's wrong with this Jeep right now? My radio is delaminating. I have a door lock that doesn't work and something's wrong with my brakes. Maybe it's time I look for a new one. You've been a pretty good Jeep. I don't know. Might be time. Yeah So I think most of you guys have known, you know, that have been here for a while. Know that I usually keep a vehicle till it's about five years old and then I kind of start to do the search. Do I want to upgrade? Do I not want to upgrade? That Jeep has 65,000 miles on it. Not bad at all. But now it's to the point where it's five years old and the trade-in value just starts to drop so fast. So usually around that five year old vehicle mark is when I start kind of looking. So I think I'm gonna kind of look. What should I get? Should I get another Jeep? Should I get not a Jeep? Should I get a truck? What do you guys think? I mean, I'm sure it's gonna be a Jeep, but you know, what do you guys think? What should I be looking at for a car? For the new, if we get it, Husky Hauler. Besides the RV because the RV is definitely the big Husky Hauler. What do you think, huh? It's like I don't need a V8 anymore. I could get something that's a little better on gas. You guys don't know my Jeep is a V8 because we had to have it that way to be able to pull that trailer. But we don't pull the trailer anymore. So we don't necessarily need the V8 anymore because now we have the motorhome. So I could get something a little better on gas. Don't necessarily need that Hemi V8. Although I really like it. Don't necessarily need it. What? Are you trying to tell me I'm wrong? Am I wrong? Oh now you don't have anything to say? She's like open the gate. You know, you could just push it open. I'm glad you don't, but you could. Hi Memphis, how you doing? She's like I do pretty good guys, pretty good. I feel like this is all day every day today, huh? It's melting. It is very bright out here and it's nice and warm and look all the snow has melted off the trees. There's a squirrel! He just ran down the tree. Everything is melting so fast. 45 today is supposed to be 42 tomorrow and 45 the next day. So I give it not even three days and we'll be back to where we were with the snow. What do you think Memphis? She's like it just smells amazing. I am so happy right now. Are you basking in the sunlight? Are you like, oh the sun is so warm. Memphis is definitely sunbathing. Your snow dogs are in here sunbathing. Well, minus Kira because we have the stove on so. Let's see if we can find Miss Kira. You just look like you're just having the time of your life. I bet she's under the oven. She's under the oven. Hi baby. I know the oven is on and it's terrifying and it's the worst moment of my life ever. But as soon as it's off and we're eating you'll be like, oh there's food. I would totally come get the food. You're kind of strange, you know that? Yeah, I know. Hello. Is that what you want? You're like, hey rub my belly some more. Okay, fine. So demanding. You're so demanding. If I pull away. Oh, you're so strong. Okay, only because you're so strong. Hey quit licking me you weirdo. All right girls, you're gonna stay here for a little bit. Even though the sun is setting, dad and I got to run out to the farm real quick. We'll bring you guys with us, but you girls got to stay here. Sorry. We'll be right back. Look, there's a sunset over there. Look, there's a big field of snow. Look over there, it's a maple tree. Or two or three or five or... I don't remember if that tree over there did good last year. But I think these three did. It did. Since it's supposed to be 40 some degrees outside the next couple days, we thought we better come tap some trees. Jamie's got all the buckets. Buckets and taps and he's gonna go tap some trees. So some of you guys may remember us doing this in the past. We're gonna make maple syrup. If you've never seen it done before over the next few days, you'll see the process for the over the next few vlogs. You'll see the process of making maple syrup because that is what we're doing. We're at the farm. We're gonna tap some trees and then we're gonna hopefully gonna make some maple syrup. Do I have to get out of the car? It's kind of cold. I'm pretty sure I can film you from here. Whoa, look, there's a sunset. I was looking at the sunset through the mirror. But look, it's right back there. So pretty. So we did those three trees and now we're doing this tree and I don't know how many more trees we're gonna do. Are we gonna try to do that one way over there? Okay, we're gonna go do that one. We're gonna go do that one way over there as well. This means we're gonna be boiling syrup again. Oh yeah, yeah, whatever. That's fun too. Alright you feisty monkeys. We're back home by the way. Oh my goodness. And now these dogs are just being crazy. Hi Memphis. Look how pretty you are. I think I'm gonna get ready to let them outside and then I have to go let Sadie outside. And then I think we're going to bed so we can start all over again tomorrow. What do you think? You girls want to go to bed? Want to go outside? It's kind of hard to see but if you look way back there in the corner. Oh, it got brighter. You can see that quite a bit of the snow melted. Same thing with up here and then all the way in the back. But now it's cold again tonight. Memphis is trying to walk out. She's like, this is a little uneven. So now everything is kind of frozen in place again. But it's supposed to be like 50 degrees tomorrow. So I have a feeling it's all gonna melt again. Oh, don't fall Memphis. You see she keeps stepping and like sliding on the top of the snow.
