AMK Mapping notes that the fighting has now shifted to Novodanilovka. Ukrainian forces are attempting to push the enemy out of the southern part of this town. As for Mala Tokmachka, AMK Mapping claims that a "stalemate" persists there. According to OSINT analysts, the Ukrainian Defense Forces control approximately half of the town. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that Russian occupiers did not conduct any active operations in the Orekhiv sector. In the neighboring Huliapol sector, the enemy attacked Ukrainian Armed Forces positions nine times. Ukrainian soldiers repelled all attacks.

The enemy is attempting to capture Orekhiv and has concentrated approximately 150,000 troops in this area. This was stated on television by Serhiy Skibchik, press officer of the 65th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Velykyi Lug" of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. According to him, the situation in the Orekhovo area is grave but under control. The line of contact has not changed.

"The only thing that has changed is the hypertrophied kill zone; it has grown significantly and is affecting our logistics. Orekhov is under our control, and the enemy's periodic attempts to penetrate the city end with us having to bring in additional forces and assets from neighboring assault units to destroy them," he said.

Skibchik added that the enemy currently lacks the capacity to mass on the outskirts of Orekhiv and disrupt Ukrainian Armed Forces logistics in that area. At the same time, the occupiers have formed approximately 120 assault groups. A press officer for the 65th "Velikiy Lug" Brigade clarified that these groups are part of the Russian Federation's 58th Combined Arms Army, specifically the 19th and 42nd Motorized Rifle Divisions.

"It must be said that these groups are made up of assault troops trained from the 98th Airborne Division and the 7th, 11th, and 104th Airborne Assault Brigades. This is a serious force. The enemy has amassed around 150,000, but that's not enough to claim success," Skibchik believes.

Taking advantage of poor weather conditions and the enlarged kill zone, the enemy occasionally manages to amass in basements, but Ukrainian Armed Forces units identify these enemy groups and destroy them.
