I'm Chief Meteorologist Brian McMillan.
Here is a look at our month so far.
Five days in, we've hit the mid to upper 50s over the past three days,
so very consistent weather in regards to our temps.
We are going to be seeing more rain today.
We only have a tenth of an inch in the bucket so far,
but getting more rain today,
and we have a very wet pattern ahead as well.
Here's a look at our system this morning and afternoon.
We're going to be continuing to see those showers,
but also some gusty winds out along the coast
with gusts up to 40 to 50 miles an hour.
Sweet spot for the week.
The wind is going to be later this morning into the early afternoon
hours and up in the north end of the sound where we've been seeing
some gusty wind even starting early this morning. That will continue.
Through the afternoon hours, gusts up to 50 miles an hour.
All right, here's a look at our rainfall, and we'll continue
to see on and off showers as that front moves its way onshore.
But later on tonight, we dry out a bit, and we're going
to be looking much drier for the first half of your Saturday.
Saturday evening, though, it's kind of a one-two punch for us
because we have another system that's going
to be bringing some heavier rainfall
and perhaps some stronger winds as we get into Saturday night
and early Sunday morning.
So a lot going on over the next.
Seven days temps in the mid 50s today.
I'm expecting highs into the mid 50s out towards Wenatchee and Yakima
as well will be a bit warmer down towards Portland at 59 degrees.
You'll see some rain down that direction too.
All right, so for your Saturday night
and into Sunday because of the more widespread wind,
we're going to have a weather alert for you.
Then we get into next week, Monday night
and into Tuesday will be our next round of windy and wet weather.
Have a great Friday, a great weekend and go Hawks.
