If we get into a little bonus in the weather department right now,
so let's check in with Marquis Mita.
Yeah.
Or her cooking.
This is the magic of TV, ladies and gentlemen.
As a meteorologist, you know, I always had my head in the clouds.
Now I get to be there, but I need you guys' help, right?
I haven't finally picked a name for my fit quite yet,
so we got a list of names.
So we got Captain Climate, Brother Nature, and Vin Diesel.
Weasel.
So, which one are we rocking with?
My heart is Brother Nature.
Brother nature.
I think I should like...
Slide a little bit.
Oh, wait.
Keep going.
I'm pulling my phone out so people can see the behind the scenes.
It makes you float.
There it is.
It's hilarious.
It's going to be funny when we do the before
and after, the BTS of the shot.
But brother nature is what we're going with, so I'll rock with it.
64 as you walk outside this morning.
Partly cloudy skies.
We've got winds from the north and the west at 6 miles per hour.
Today is actually going to be the warmest day of the work week.
And we'll have a little bit of clouds in the afternoon.
We'll keep the rain.
In...
Oh, wait until the weekend gets here.
There's a chance for some late weekend showers on Halloween,
but much more widespread rain is going to be in the picture on Sunday.
It's going to be a wet start to the month of November.
So hold on to the sunshine for as long as you can.
Definitely a warm finish to the month
of October over the next two days.
As we walk outside 64 here in Atlanta,
we've got 52 up north in Blue Ridge.
You're back in the mid fifties in Clayton Dalton, 55 degrees.
So Atlanta, the warmest place to be early this morning here at 1004.
We'll continue to walk our way into the upper 70s.
Some of us will flirt with the 80s before the day is said and done.
So a fabulous finish to this Friday.
Unfortunately, though, rain showers do lie ahead of us on Halloween.
We'll be tracking that chance for some rain as we move across the 7
and the 9 o'clock hour.
I'll have a full update on how much rain you're likely to receive over
the course of the weekend coming up next time I see you.
All right, this is pretty good.
Marquise, though, I want to give you a heads up.
