Halloween masterpiece. And for the past 10 years, Bo Hayes
and his two daughters have used spray paint and a little creativity
to bring different designs to life all by hand. This is amazing.
And this year they're taking on a Michael Jackson classic.
I think you know what we're talking about here.
This tradition, though, is about more than just the artwork.
Some people don't believe that I actually painted
this with just spray paint and I don't use any
stencils I don't use any templates I look I just look
at a picture on my phone and freehand it. We
started this tradition about 10 years ago
when a friend of mine would bring over a hay bale and he
gave me the idea of spray painting.
You can picture like what you want in your mind and then like
You paint it, and then it's just like come to real life.
It's like, like one of my favorite parts
is that we get to spend time with our dad and paint it.
It's been a big deal for the community,
and I think it's something that they look forward
to just as much as me.
There's families all throughout the season
that'll stop by and get family pictures.
When he told me what he was going to do with us,
You know, and he asked me, well, why don't I want anything?
I want these kids to enjoy it.
I've seen it develop over the years.
He says 10 years now.
You know,
Each time it gets more and more awesome.
Awesome.
It's a unique tradition that was started,
and I think if there's anything I want my girls to get from it,
is that taking an ordinary holiday
and creating your own unique tradition like this
gives you the ability to spend time with your family.
Yeah, this year it's Thriller, Michael Jackson,
and I'm going to be Michael Jackson this year,
so it's really cool.
Countless hours we spend on something like this is...
It's very, very special and making memories with them.
Very cool.
I love that.
All right.
Big ups to our producer, Shea, for putting that together.
The hay bale displays, not just for Halloween.
They were available throughout the year,
celebrating different holidays and seasons.
The home is in Carrollton on Treasure Trail.
That was so amazing.
I was saying I thought it was a projector.
I did, too.
It looks amazing.
Because it's so detailed.
My goodness.
The way the light, it looks like it's glowing, kind of.
Yes, even behind the house.
But, yeah, shout out to Shea.
Yeah.
All right.
