In the Sumy region, intelligence officers conducted a special operation, during which 29 Russian soldiers were captured and another 108 were killed. According to the Active Operations Department of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the special operation was carried out by the GROUP 10 unit.

It is noted that the main task was completed. "Special forces thwarted the enemy's offensive plans and prevented the logistical routes from being cut off," the statement said. During the special operation, 29 occupiers were captured, and another 108 were killed. More than 1,100 targets were also reported to have been hit.

"In seven weeks, fighters cleared more than 600 hectares of forest from Russian forces and handed over their positions to the Ukrainian Defense Forces," the Department of Active Operations noted.
