Russian soldiers are dying en masse near Dobropillia, the city Russian dictator Vladimir Putin lied about capturing just a few days ago. A "path of death" has formed beneath the city, along which the Russians have attempted to break in. They have failed. The 20th NGU "Lyubart" Brigade of the National Guard showed impressive footage. For a long time now, Putin's army has been attempting to reach Dobropillia from occupied Rodynske with small assault groups. These attempts have cost the occupiers enormous casualties, as the area is 100% controlled by Ukrainian drones.
"The enemy was trapped in a maneuver, its offensive potential destroyed... 80% of infantrymen attempting to advance along this route are killed. Despite this, the Russian command continues to send infantry across open terrain to advance toward Dobropillia," the brigade reported. They estimate the Russian Armed Forces' total losses during this maneuver at 361, with 229 wounded. Ukrainian drones also captured the "path of death." The small area is literally strewn with the bodies of Russian attack aircraft. Forty-one dead occupiers were recorded there. The situation was commented on by the authoritative OSINT expert Playfra. "Forty-one bodies of Russian soldiers are scattered along a 100-meter stretch of road north of Rodynske... As can be seen, the marked area represents a bottleneck on at least three main Russian troop routes leading from their main staging area in Rodynske. Effective drone control allows Ukrainian forces to inflict significant damage on the enemy here, even though this area is located in the red zone," the expert noted.

Recall, following the completion of Operation 'Vivaldi,' Russian troops have temporarily ceased direct attacks on Sloviansk and Kramatorsk and abandoned plans to encircle Donetsk Oblast. Instead, their focus has shifted to the Dobropillia sector. This operation successfully reclaimed significant territory, inflicted heavy losses on enemy forces, and disrupted Russia’s strategic objectives.

Andriy Biletskyy, commander of the 'Center' military group, provided an update on Operation 'Vivaldi,' which aimed primarily to thwart Russian advances. The Russian military had intended a multi-pronged offensive to seize full control of Donetsk Oblast, including the 'West' group consisting of three Russian armies. Their plan involved advancing from a bridgehead on the Chornyi Zherebets River toward Sviatohirsk and Rubtsi, while attempting to encircle the Sloviansk-Kramatorsk urban area from the north via the Sviatohirsk salient and circumventing Lyman. A secondary thrust was planned through Dobropillia village and town toward Barvinkove. Since the operation’s start, Ukrainian forces have liberated 277 square kilometers and cleared several hundred square kilometers of Russian troops. Russian casualties have exceeded 8,000 personnel, including killed and wounded. Additionally, 270 Russian soldiers have been captured, among them the battalion chief of staff and 13 reconnaissance platoon commanders. More than 20 Russian officers surrendered in total. During the final phase of the operation, two battalion commanders of the Russian Armed Forces were killed.
