What do you make of Marvin Harrison?
Because by all accounts, he's not playing this week,
but he'll play next week.
What do you make of bringing him on board with this offense?
Good Lord, man.
Okay, so if I had any faith in Nick Holley to do smart things,
I would love this addition.
I think Nick Holley is quietly a bottom five offensive coordinator.
I think he's one of the worst offensive coordinators
in the entire freaking NFL.
I don't think that he's helping facilitate C.J. Stroud playing well.
I think C.J. Stroud's playing well despite Nick Holley.
So I would love to tell you that I have hope
and faith that Marvin Harrison Jr.
is going to finally be deployed in a way
that is commensurate with his talent.
I've said since he entered the NFL,
he should have been deployed as like a Drake London type,
give him like 60-40, a lot of in-breakers, a lot of in the slot.
Does that happen in Houston? Remains to be seen.
The big thing about Marvin Harrison
Jr. that I keep pushing back about consensus
is that I don't think that he's a bad player,
I think that he was checked out
and he was tired of the Arizona Cardinals crap after
multiple seasons of bad ownership, bad coaching,
bad quarterback play, playing through injuries
and just really being rung through the, I mean, put through the ringer.
Like, I think he was just done.
And I get it.
By the way, he is playing.
As of two hours ago, the news just broke.
Sorry, I missed it.
But the news broke two hours ago.
Marvin Harrison is going to make his debut on Sunday.
Yeah.
Yeah, and I have no clue how much playing time he's going to get
just based off of how much of the playbook has he been able to ingest.
The other thing about it, Nick Haley loves his wide receiver groupings,
so I'm just waiting for this week of trade his future second
for Marvin Harrison Jr., and then we see Xavier Hutchinson
run more routes for like the next five weeks
because, you know, the Nick Haley of it all.
