USWNT Rallies Against Spain in Women's Football Clash

What else do you have in the world of women's football? Absolutely. Well, I would love to pull up the stats and talk about the U.S. women's national team this weekend. Facing Spain two times. First game ending in a loss for the U.S. women's national team. Second game, however, was such a fun match to watch. The U.S. was trailing 2-0 to Spain, the current World Cup champions, who, might I just say, played beautifully. Spain is one of those squads that is just so, so good. They are able to break the defensive line. the U.S. women's national team like it was nothing honestly playing around them but then we saw some momentum we saw the tide change and the U.S. women's national team was able to put two goals away the first goal coming from Ashley Sanchez who's actually the goal scoring leader in the NWSL she's on North Carolina Courage and she just had an incredible game for me she was definitely the player of the match she stood up she stood out against the other players i think what i love about her is her determination right she was one of the only players that showed that they they didn't give up and of course we have to talk about the Thompson sisters who played really really well you know i definitely see a lot of improvement coming from Alyssa Thompson coming from Chelsea and i'm really excited to see how the women's world cup is gonna go amazing to see the stats of how competitive this game was uh these are the two biggest teams next summer when we go to brazil these teams are gonna be the ones that everybody's gonna be watching to make it to the final obviously Brazil as the host nation and the you know in farewell the Marta you will they're going to have a special uh motivation and a special just aura all around them during this tournament but to be honest it's between Spain and the United States as the new world powers in football and props to Spain right because not only they're the current world champions also they have been able to bridge that gap that the United States had over everyone else for many many decades there was the United States and everybody else and now i don't think the United States go to any competition thinking that they're going to win these games just because they are wearing the stars right definitely not another couple matches that were interesting just to point out speaking of Brazil Brazil faced Argentina this weekend and ended in a two two draw absolutely Mexico playing Jamaica winning three to one another team that has definitely been on the come up with some really really strong players coming out of Liga and of course Germany versus Japan Japan is one of those dark not even a dark horses just has been an incredibly strong squad in women's football sleeping giant let's just yes sleeping giant early on in women's football they have just proved to be a sleeping giant so i think like i said guys tune into this women's world cup if you had fun watching the men's you're also going to have fun watching the women's you're gonna see less ball but you're gonna see really great goals and a lot to see
