Liga MX Drama: Tigres Upset Toluca, Playoff Race Heats Up

So much to talk about. Two really big games this weekend. Tigres versus Toluca. Brunetta scoring twice, including the opener at the sixth minute. This is an incredible game. And Tigres beating the leaders after not having a really good season so far. We've been critiquing them so far, the entire league. And finally, they were able to get some momentum. América versus Monterrey. Another really good match. Ended in 1-1. Rossi, who is obviously one of our favorite players coming from LFC and ex-LFC player, scored um the opening goal um bueno equalizing it and Borja was sent off in the 87th minute this was just a lot of drama a lot of emotions coming into this weekend a lot of big games uh another game that was everybody was talking about Guadalajara versus Atlas in Clásico Tapatío that uh it seemed that it was going one way for Atlas and then Chivas was able to recover the game towards the end to get it to 86th minute 86th minute it was critical for Atlas to win this game to really solidify themselves within a play of contention and for Chivas to to you know get this point out of the pocket of Atlas keeps them right there at the top of the table you want to go take a look at the table let's do it absolutely so far i'll get while we're pulling it up i'll get my takes i think for me the team that i'm most excited for i gotta talk about because i'm so excited tigres right let's take a look at them i know they're going to be towards the bottom with three wins but coming up coming up with 13 points two points away from playing contention there's a possibility for them i think they have a run absolutely to make the top eight so we'll see that's all i wanted to say real quick now pumas 12 plays 13 points one game away from being inside de La Liguilla, it can happen.
